The Water Street Inn — Hotel in Ephraim

This was our tenth consecutive year staying at the Water Street Inn and, in all of these years the service, accommodations and friendliness of the entire staff was terrific and has never diminished during all of these years. Our room was spotless when we arrived and well maintained throughout our visit,|Gretchen, the manager, was always on site and available to answer any questions and was open to suggestions. She's made significant enhancements to the Inn and is looking forward to enhancing the guest’s experience even more. We stayed here recently and really liked the Inn. It is freshly updated. The room was clean and pretty spacious and the property was nice. I liked that we had our assigned parking spot. We only stayed a few nights and because the weather didn't cooperate, didn't get to use the pool but it looked clean and enjoyable for guests. We enjoyed our stay. We liked the storage in the room and that there was a small fridge. I was worried that the walls would be too thin and we did hear noise from the guests above us but fortunately, around 10 p.m. the whole place seemed quiet and we had no noise issues at all. I would not recommend staying at the Water Street Inn. A staff member walked into our room while we were in the room, well before check out time. We shouted and attempted to stop them from entering, and they walked completely into our room while we were there, invading our privacy. The hotel agreed to compensate us by giving us a refund for one of our night stays, has not refunded us a week later, and is impossible to reach. We had to ask for this refund, and they were not proactive about this communication. Unprofessional staff and a scarring experience that was handled poorly.
