Co-op Cafe and Bakery — Restaurant in Erie

Walking in with my service dog, the first thing I hear is this woman, yelling "puppy, puppy, puppy"! Apparently alerting the other employees. What a shock! I felt unwelcome. I ordered the downtown wok wrap as is & the green dream smoothie. The wrap took a very long time to prepare and there were few customers. It was very messy, with liquid dripping out of the wrap. I picked up half, and instantly, the fillings fell out. Now I'm sticky. You need wet wipes or sanitizer available. It was difficult to retrieve paper towels from the dispenser, and I asked an employee for help. He watched me attempt to dig them out without assistance, and when I finally ripped a few out, he turned away without a word. I thanked him loudly. Everything tasted good, buy by the end of my meal, I was extremely nauseous and almost threw-up in the trash. I hope to make it home before...

The staff is always kind, considerate, and very accommodating for any dietary restrictions. Great staple menu items, even if it seems to not change too much seasonally. I went for the lawn boy, with cashew cheese. It was ready in a short amount of time and would have been good for a takeaway if I needed to get back to the office. I always find myself asking after a visit why I don't go there more often. Also, the cafe has great smoothies! Significantly better than my diy smoothies at home. Highly recommend for anyone with dietary restriction, vegetarian, vegan, or just a desire to eat...

I teased my mom because she shops almost exclusively here. I didn't know what to expect by the name. I had different expectations. I don't know about the co-op part of the grocery. But the store is great. It's clean, and the worker was helpful and pleasant. I wish I could have browsed but we were in a rush. Loved the Co-op and will definitely be back when I return to the area. The place to go for organic, natural food...
