Ling Ling — Restaurant in Erie

It's a shame this place has to get a low rating. The food is good. At least most of it. This place must also be in a desperate state, because one of the workers was absolutely terrible. So disgusting and vulgar. And it wasn't even a customer he was acting this way to. It was one of those food delivery drivers. He was so rude and disrespectful to this driver that he might as well quit. And when the driver was trying to be nice and friendly, this worker pushed it away as if it were Covid19 in the flesh! Being a fellow delivery driver, I take offense to this type of treatment. What? Was he mad because us food delivery workers get paid more than what he's getting an hour? Bad day? Or is he one of those individuals who just hates life and everything about it? Life can be hard, but never take whatever it is you're going through out on anybody, period. My advice, if a worker at this food place is being harsh to both customer and/or food delivery person, correct them quickly. Us food delivery workers have it bad too. Last year I lived in erie for about half a year and Ling Ling's is the only place I like to eat chinese food. There are only a few things that bother me: their fried rice is yellow (although that's more of a visual thing), and their dumplings are entirely too thick.

However, everything else I've tried (general tso, beef and broccoli, orange chicken/beef, crab rangoons and a few others I can't think of) has been really good. The prices are a little higher than what I'm used to but you definitely get full/can't finish what they give you. They also deliver, which is a major plus. (...although it took them over an hour to get to me. At least my food was piping hot, so it was definitely not a driver issue)

Overall, I frequent Ling Ling's to the point they noticed when I moved away and asked about me, LOL! So, a very good...

The food is good.. What drives me nuts about this company is at around 7pm they leave their phone off the hook so that it rings busy and they don't have to take any more orders for delivery because their closing time is 9pm sometimes 10pm. If they do happen to take your order for delivery, they ask for a tip prior to your order being delivered and they deliver it to you right before they close. I've waited multiple times for almost 2hrs for my order and wish I did not tip. After having multiple orders, they randomly told me they don't deliver to my address anymore... That's the extent these people go to not delivery food when it's close to closing. They won't get another red cent from me ever again!!!! I wish I could get all my...
