Worst "breakfast" I've experienced in a long time. Waited at the table about 5 mins before our waitress came over, she didn't say hi or introduce herself just asked what we wanted for breakfast. My bf and I ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of toast to share, simple. Another group walked in 10-12 mins after we had been sitting, this table received and were presumably halfway through their food before I was inqusitive about our meal. Another table came about 20mins after us and also received their food. By this I was ready to leave. No one came to our table to explain or apologize. We decided to leave but I asked to speak to a manager. The "manager" was dressed in a dingy athletic shirt and sneakers and was just sitting at the counter. I asked why we'd been waiting almost 40 mins for our food, he just uncaringly said "I'll find out for you" I said we are not staying for breakfast. There was barely an apology and the sorry that was there was very insincere. Waitress didn't apologize or say anything. No rush to see where our food mysteriously dissappeared to. Just an "ok" as we left. I understand mistakes happen but for the staff to be so unapologetic is very poor service etiquette. It's a shame as the food is pretty good. Hopefully upper management cares about their business enough to shape up...
Read moreLet me start off by saying, I've eaten here maybe 15-20 times and have always enjoyed it. However, because of my experience on 9/1/18, I will never eat here again. First off, as soon as you walk in, it is sweltering. I mean 80+ degrees, and no air circulating at all but a couple of ceiling fans. I mean hotter inside then it was outside, on an 85 degree day. Secondly, the place wasn't even at capacity and it took almost an hour to get our food, and that's just with 2 people, with basic orders. Third, when we got our food, the bacon was way undercooked and cold, as were the eggs, english muffin didn't even hit the toaster and my sausage and gravy biscuits were disgusting. The last point was my biggest disappointment. A breakfast place shouldn't use instant gravy, which I'm 100% positive it is, and the waitress lied and saif it wasn't when I asked, I mean it was just a pile of disgusting mess on top of cold bisquits. I could have literally gotten better from McDonald's across thr street for 5 bucks. I've never seen such a negative turn around. And even with the heat and the hour wait time, no one even as much as apologized. This place sucks now, and I will never eat...
Read moreWe Like to stop here during our trips to do a little shopping on Peach St. I enjoy the Greek sauce probably the most for the food there but also enjoy the omelets some mornings . The waitresses are always nice and attentive we have had a few different ones (Tracy and Amber I wanna say ) and they have all been great the last one we had said her name was Kaleigh and was very bubbly and pleasant. There was several customers in there at the time yet the workers always seem to handle it well and still seem to stay happy and have fun with each other which kept us laughing and enjoying our visit (which some places the busier they get the more frazzled the staff will get and almost make you feel like a bother ) but here they have a way of making you feel like they are happy to see you. The atmosphere is nothing special but does always appear to be clean and inviting so that's all we really care about. Overall I gave the food a 3 staff a5 and atmosphere a 4 for these reasons. Definably worth a stop in to check out if your heading in that area. I think it's locally owned which is nice and prices beat the big corp prices hands down which...
