12/29/2024 - amazing service, upbeat attitudes, served quickly and the food was spot on exactly what we needed to end the last Sunday of the year. Thank you for it all! Oh and went back in and ordered a blizzard thread was made perfectly!

Aug 25,2024: I updated my review from 1 star to top stars. I've never been contacted by an owner directly before so when I got contacted directly by the owner of this DQ 2mths ago I was impressed. She wholeheartedly felt bad we had the experience we did and asked to give this location the opportunity to make things right, and told me to txt or call her when ever we were planning on going back. I txt the owner today since we were in the area and when we got there they took care of us, no questions or hesitations, everyone had smiles and great attitudes. Our blizzards were full, held upside down and made exactly how they should be. Thank you again for being such a quick, responsive, caring owner! Brandy aka Firecracker Photography June 2024: After driving 40 min to go to this DQ which is the closest to us we waited 14 min for 2 small blizzards (1 ultimate cookie and 1 brownie batter), when she handed us ours they weren't even filled the regular size or near the top lip of the cup and they were blended so much neither of them had any chunks, they were almost pureed and mixed so much she couldn't even tip them upside down like they're supposed to because they were already melting. The Dairy Queen in Española is one of the best fast-food restaurants in the area if you like good-old fashioned American cheeseburgers, hamburgers and their french fries are made nice n crispy, not too much and the burgers, even their basic burgers/cheeseburgers are enough, with fries, to make you feel like you just had a real meal! Since it's Dairy Queen, you have to order something from their ice cream/sundaes or shakes menu and they have a tasty variety. I ordered a vanilla cone dipped in chocolate and when your eating at Dairy Queen you seem to just have to eat your burger, fries and your ice cream/sundae/shake at the same time; it tastes great together, plus your soft drink, it's an American fast food tradition and it's nice there's one still around in Española, about a 27 mile drive south from where my family and I live in Taos, where we don't have a Dairy Queen. Another menu item the D.Q. has that's also an old-fashioned American fast food/burger tradition (that customers still love) are the Chicken Strips with their D.Q. white gravy and other chicken sandwiches, they also taste great with the D.Q. crunchy and delicious french fries. The customer service is great at this D.Q. in Española, the employees were friendly, knew their jobs and the cooks are Doing A Great Job of cooking the food perfectly! The dining room was clean and the only thing that was a bit of a problem was, for some reason, their restrooms were closed to the customers, this was about 5 pm on a weekday, so hopefully they get their restroom problem fixed and they will be...

2/24/22 at 7:10 we ordered 5 chicken strips baskets all with xtra gravy drove half way down the road realized we didn’t get our xtra gravy’s even though we were charged . Came back to the store waiting on line for 30 minutes while the girl at the window was talking to her friend (the car in front of us ) we saw her giving out numerous ice creams and items and never saw the car pay for any of it finally after they stayed talking and laughing like it was funny we had to honk our horn and tell the friend of the employee to move out of the way because people with paid orders are waiting Finally the car moves and the lady at the window is laughing because she thinks it’s funny to give away free stuff and have paying customers waiting over 30 minutes for food they paid for and didn’t get so then we get home and realize our daughters kids meal came with no free ice cream because it was in a regular bag and 2 of our baskets did not even have fries in them spent almost 60$ and was disappointed because we didn’t get what we paid for and DQ isn’t cheap I wish they would hire people who were more mature and knew a thing or 2 about customer service not sure if these employees...
