Under new ownership. This place used to be amazing. We ordered all of our special event cakes from Herman and his family. When he sold the business it went from being the best place in town, to absolute trash. I would rather drive to Midland than order another cake here. We ordered a very special baby shower cake, because covid prevented a full shower. Since it was just going to be the mom to be, sisters and grandmas we wanted it to be extra special. It was almost as expensive as my wedding cake and was meant to have 2 bunny figures with a vegetable garden theme. They used straight pink icing, and the only vegetables they copied from the original picture were the cabbages that they dipped in course grain green sprinkles to hide the sloppy pipping. It looks like a grocery store cake, which would be fine if it wasn't 8 times the price of a full sheet cake. If they weren't able to create the design they should have indicated that when it was ordered instead of surprising us the afternoon beforehand when there were no other options. Not only that, when it was picked up they indicated it was more difficult that they expected and charged about 10% more than we were quoted. I feel terrible that Herman's shop is going to fail at the hands of these people. He spent years developing the reputation. I will never order here again. When looking over reviews and pictures keep in mind that it is under...

They last minute were able to help us out with adding desserts for our wedding. The desserts were hungrily demolished by our guests.
We came in to see if cupcakes could be accommodated, but they needed a week's notice. Which is 1000% reasonable especially given that we came in on a holiday weekend that also overlaps with graduation and wedding season.
I wish they had a website outside of their Facebook that had a means to make orders. If I had found them sooner through web search engines I definitely would have bought more. But now that I know about them and how they operate I will be back with more orders and will definitely be recommending people to them.
The other feedback I can suggest is labeling items with...

We had heard about this bakery on Woodside, in an area of Greater Bay City that we hardly ever come to... now we're definitely coming back. There is a variety of expertly crafted goods for display -- from danish, to macaroons, to breads, cakes and cookies... even donuts. All looked delicious. The cherry and cheese danishes were very good: they reminded me of the closed 'Old World Bakery' in south Bay City. This type of danish might look similar to the monstrosities in a grocery store; however, the flavor and texture is a completely different experience. The 'Irish Soda Bread' was also very good. It had a slight caraway seed flavor and plump golden raisons -- it was even better toasted with butter. Once again... I will...
