Came of for the first RAIDERS game of the season. Probably the last time I step foot in there which is sad bc those are my people. The (not nice things to say here ) bartender/server couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge us. We were the only ones in the place at first. Finally got to order, she didn’t even let us finish telling her our order before she started walking away. 4 times during the first half I had to go to the bar to ask for refills. She took my glass and told me to sit down, she would bring it out…. Then when I got the check, she had charged me for refills of soda… I was already over her so I didn’t question it, just reduced her tip. Honestly felt like she didn’t deserve even a dollar but I did still tip. There are 12 tables, 8 of which were occupied inside the bar. 2 servers, how can you ignore ANY of your tables???? The food was great. I’ve been here once before and the pizza was awesome. I got breakfast this time. If it wasn’t for the god awful service, I would totally go back. I’ve worked in the service industry for a long time, ran kitchens and managed employees, and I can tell you if she was my employee, she wouldn’t be for long. When your cooks have to run food, it tells you a lot about the service. I hate giving bad reviews on a place with great food but she was the worst server I have had in...
Read moreA unexpected and enjoyable Monday evening keeping company with my bestie David. Available music was a phenomenal mix of classic rock and new country. Introduced to Barkeep and Mixologist Jason who I found the Kegs lead Vintner to be quite the intellectual while keeping it at a level he could remain humble and the steward that keeps the keg up, running and active. The pizza made from scratch on the premises was scrumptious beyond all expectation. A pesto sauce comparable to the Chicago's own Maggiano's Little Italy Ristorante' topped with ingredients so fresh they slap you in the face for asking. I would recommend the Keg evenings under the supervision of Jason to anyone looking for an evening out less all the irritations and disappointments we all somehow have accepted "as is" due to...
Read moreCame in this morning and asked if I could order breakfast to go from bar and for change. Waitresses said yes then asked if I wanted a menu I said yes. I stood there for a good 7 minutes waiting for somebody to take my order. Since the waitress is completely ignoring me when I tried to get their attetion, I sat at lottery machine. Not one person smiled not one person came to talk to me and asked me if I was ready to order or even asked how I was doing so I had a rough night driving as a Lyft Uber driver. I just wanted some food to take home. I graciously left my lottery cash out for $0.05 ticket on bar as I walked out. I should have wrote on the actual ticket my second tip, work on your...
