The best experience I could have had in an Arby's is because I saw a manager today, on a day when they had a boil water advisory, and he was coaching his brand new employee. He started out by giving her some super good feedback and praise on the ice machine task that she was given. And then he sat her down and started to coach her. He was teaching her about SMART goals and how to attain them, and he was giving her some beautiful feedback and recognition. And then he went on with her to develop a plan on how to obtain her goals. He let her have her say and gave her a voice in the conversation. It was textbook coaching! As a person who helps managers develop their leadership skills, this made my heart happy. Arby's food is Arby's food at any Arby's that you go to, but this gentleman right here teaches his employees how to create a true customer experience. So I just wanted to give a shout out to that guy and tell him that his coaching was on point! Arby's, you found a good one...
Read moreTo start, they lost a star because the last time I came here I had to take my business somewhere else because they decided to lock their doors completely. As a truck driver (and this goes for anyone unfortunate enough to not have a vehicle that is capable of going through the drive-thru) it is frustrating to be turned away because I don't have a vehicle that fits in the drive-thru. Every other fast food place I have been to has at least had the lobby open for carry out.
All of that aside, everything else was mediocre or better. The Dr Pepper was mediocre, not sure if it was an issue in the lines or that the syrup had just been replaced but, it didn't taste quite right. It was just fine and drinkable, it didn't have too little carbonation or too little syrup. Everything else was great. Friendly staff and good food made everything else worth it. Read moreSo today wife and i went to Arby's by flying J. In evansdale. And of course we order 2 beef gyros. One of them came with turkey instead of beef. Turned around got on the window told them what the problem was. And nice lady apologized and not only that offered us a shake. . We felt uncomfortable. . I mean its fast food not red lobster. They made the sandwich and gave us 2 completely meals for our inconvenience and manager manager came and apologized again wich made us feel really appreciate and uncomfortable.
