McDonald's — Restaurant in Evansdale

We stopped on our way to basketball game in cedar rapids. None of us had eaten so we just got 1 thing to tide us all over. Me and my daughters got a double cheeseburger and they were AWEFUL and ICE cold. We ate anyway because we was hungry and wasn't going to be done until 8:30 pm. My son got a mcchicken and wouldn't even eat it so I asked my daughter to try and she said it was really bad and tasted bad so I told him not to eat it and my son have him a few chicken nuggets. We get to game and half way thru I start getting pains doubling me over so I go to the bathroom and miss the whole 2nd part of my daughters game. I feel a bit better to watch my son my husband drove us home while I laid down I get home to go to bed only to be doubled over again and feeling like I have to throw up so I go to bathroom and throw up my cheeseburger and it was aweful. I lay on bathroom for and my 6 yr old brings me a blanket/pillow while I sleep there until 2:30 am and I finally feel like i can go to bed. It's my b day today and I'm still not 100% and I also had to miss work all bevayse of ONE bad cheeseburger. I may of well as throw 30.00 out the windows I am doing a survery also. I don't usually do reviews and surveys but this needs to be out there. There is no reason our burgers should of been ICE cold. Do u know how hard it is to eat a cold cheeseburger? Ugh.....

So pissed I could’ve requested for my sandwich to be remade and I should’ve…but I didn’t have time I had to go or I’d be late to my delivery.

I overheard the manager ask the guy who made my sandwich if he put butter on it & he said no & she told him it’s supposed to have butter & he said he never does it that way. She told him it’s supposed to have butter and I thought maybe she’d fix it? No…so..I had a dry ass steak, egg and cheese bagel with no butter.

Customer service in this country has taken a nose dive…ppl literally rob us with no weapons everyday when they take our money and give us whatever the hell they want to give us vs what we paid/asked for. Just deplorable staff! Absolutely unconscionable that a MANAGER (I know the difference in the shirts) would n verbally correct an employee but STILL not take the 1 second to make it right for the CUSTOMER!

The person 1 of many hopefully who is patronizing the very establishment in which they BOTH WORK to earn a living. You don’t fix what you point out as wrong and you’re able to? It wasn’t busy..there was no traffic in that place whatsoever…just SICKENING…but I’m definitely reporting this to corporate for sure. I’m tired of terrible service in these places. Ppl do too much to work for money they spend in these places with...

Me and my partner went there earlier, we were the only ones at the place (went to the drive thru) it took 4 mins before they answered the machine. There was a lady that pulled up after us that went to the second intercom and got in front of us. Pulled up to the first window, there were about 5 workers just standing around talking. Went to the second window and waited another 20mins. The lady in front of us was still waiting as well, she had enough and went inside to get a refund. We preceded to wait another 5 mins, still didn’t get food yet. I went inside to get a refund, but they said they were waiting on fries(which take 2 mins to fry) finally got the food and it was all cold beside the fries. Will DEFINITELY not be going there again. Horrible service. And after eating it, we are now sick.. something definitely needs to change there. I would rate it a zero out of 5 stars but I needed to click one to...
