We stopped here on a Saturday night before an event. It’s cute inside! We sat at a table for 2 in the bar area. The bartender who was our server was very nice. I love that they have a mocktail menu, how inclusive! We talked with him about the options and he recommended a few. We decided to try the “Sweet Sunshine” and it was delicious! It’s pineapple, blood orange, lemon, house almond syrup, simple syrup for $8. For an appetizer we got the Goat cheese bites ($12) which are drizzled in berry sauce and chefs kiss. Delicioso! It’s just something about goat cheese that makes you forget you’re lactose! 🤣 5 bites come in an order and they definitely need to make it 6 cause we were about to tussle for the last one. For entrees we got the chicken and waffle sandwich ($17) and the Bacon Pimento Cheese Burger ($18) minus the pimento cause eww, I’m lactose again. The chicken and waffle sandwich was great. The waffle was so light and airy and the chicken from the chick fil a Gods! The burger was a burger, nothing spectacular about it. The fries were good but I needed like 9 more. I know restaurants are measuring their fries and serving exactly 6 ounces but put some parsley on the plate or something for the dead space or just add a few more ounces of fries. The decor is nice here and it’s a pretty big restaurant. I remember even being impressed by the bathroom. Great dinner...
Read moreEmbarrassing. Took our family here for a brunch and it was a disaster. The server and service was horrible. The waitress who took our orders kept trying to bring other tables food to us, didn't come back to replenish drinks, expected us to take our drinks off her tray, just plain lazy. By the time we actually got our food, it was undercooked or cold. When we tried to tell the manager, he said it was our fault for being rude. Will not be back.
To the response: 1 carafe of coffee for 15 people isn't plenty; we asked for a second so our second table didn't have to come to our table for coffee. Waitress said yes twice; and by asking the third time, she said no because you ran out of carafes. Secondly, your waitress was so terrible that when our coorect food did arrive, the poor girl just stood there between our tables holding the plates because she had STREAP THROAT and couldn't speak and ask to whom the plates went. I had to step in and serve the plates. Third, you only came over once to deliver two dishes and to ask me, not the waitress, who still needed food and what did they order. Finally, if you truly overheard and witnessed so much, why didn't you help? Why didn't you see all of us, staff and guests, were miserable and step in? Why was this terrible experience allowed to continue for...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I came here on Saturday September 3rd, 2022 for brunch and really enjoyed our experience. The dining room is very clean, modern, and comfortable, and the tables are spaced out nicely. There are a lot of real plants and murals that provide an attractive dining space.
Now, on to the food!
We ordered the breakfast BLT on brioche, a bloody mary, the breakfast platter, the French toast, and one biscuit. Their house-made bacon is phenomenal, as is the french toast; absolutely outstanding! The seasoned potatoes are very flavorful and pair deliciously with the house bourbon hot sauce (ask for it, it’s great!). The bloody mary was very tasty although I personally would have preferred it thicker. My girlfriend’s only suggestion would have been to provide fruit with the meals so as to cut the grease and provide a healthy balance to the heavier menu offerings. The service was very good overall. I would have liked a bit more intentional engagement on our server’s end, but she was attentive and did a good job.
The prices are a bit on the higher side, but not unreasonable, and the quality of food is definitely worth it.
They also have a great playlist 🙂
All in all, it is definitely worth visiting, and we will...
