I called classical coins because I found a five dollar Australian bank note from 1995 and uncirculated and in really good shape and flat and crisp. Then found that some of the ones from that year are rare and worth from $1000 and up. I decided to call them at classical coins because I have a hobby and collecting vintage antiques and rare items and thought they might be interested. However they didn’t even ask me anything really about it. I could just hear the male owner in the background saying whatever she thought she found it’s nothing and they’re only worth three dollars. But he didn’t even take the time to speak with me so I don’t think I will be going in there ever again and I don’t think I’ll be selling my rare vintage Items to them. It makes me afraid to go in there with questions about anything that I find or have because The one time that I’ve been there before, he’s been rude to at least somebody and first time ever went in there he only gave me a total of like 60 something dollars for these vintage items That I had and brought and sold to them. And later I found that they were worth a whole lot more. He doesn’t seem to be interested in the things that people are actually looking for. It seems that hobby gone business is now just hobby collecting and every once in a while I don’t know maybe just sitting on it....
Read moreDo NOT recommend shopping here! The owner, Brian, is EXTREMELY rude & condensing. The shop is a fire hazard with boxes of junk piled all around, there is no room to browse but even if there were space to browse you wouldnt be able to because the owner is very aggressive & acts like he doesnt want anyone in the store. He also speaks very poorly & is aggressive towards his poor wife even infront of customers. Not only does he speak poorly of her He speaks poorly of customers right as they walk out of the door, he makes fun of them for not knowing the value of their things. One last thing, Brian...PLEASE change your clothes. You brag about 100k sells but can't afford to change your...
Read moreThis is a great place! We have sold a lot of coins and gold to them- he is always very transparent and knowledgeable. They give the most for your items out of all of the places in Evansville. I saw some bad reviews on here, but the people who think he is rude are just upset that their items aren't what they thought they were... lol He is pretty much an expert in coins and jewelry and has always given us more than we expected. I've also bought some REALLY cool antique silver jewelry from them and they have very fair prices and really unique items. It's definitely a great place to go. Brian always teaches us...
