I arrived at 4 p.m. to this stablishment, recommended by the hotel across the street. Ordered a Long Island drink and a BBQ burger. Food was great, and the drink (Long Island) made by the bartender at the time, was made the right way (I happen to know how the drink is to be made as it is my fav choice)
I ordered a second one 1 hr later as I was finishing my food and my first Long Island drink. She went off the clock, and the woman (picture of her attached) took over the bar. I finished my food around 1900 (7 p.m.) and by 2100 (9 p.m.) I decided to ask for a 3rd and final drink before walking back to the hotel room.
This new bartender (if you want to call her that) didn't know II was paying attention to how she was making the drink I had ordered and poured two of 6 ingredients (2 of 6) in a glass full of ice and a ton of soda, A FREAKING TON of soda (as if I had asked for a watered down drink or iced tea) and told me it was $12.00 when a Long Island drink is only $9.00 ( per their menu) SERIOUSLY!!!!!!?
I MAY HAVE HAD A COUPLE OF DRINKS 4.5 hrs earlier but it didn't mean I was drunk. I politely told her..... that was NOT a Long Island drink nor how it is made.
She proceeded to tell me in a condescending tone "this is how I make it, either take it or don't, I don't know how the other person made it for you and if you do take it, it's $12.00, and if you do want it, I will pour it down.
I can't and WILL NOT pay over priced water down drink. I DON'T need it nor DO I HAVE TO TAKE IT the way you feel is good enough to you for a customer who just spent almost $40.00 at your stablishment instead of haven gone across the street to Sonic.
You may be good and nice to locals, but certainly NOT to the rest. You may arbitrarily decide how you want to treat and serve drinks the way you feel like doing it, but it is certainly NOT the right way.
Customers do notice, even when you think customers are too stupid to know what you are serving if NOT exactly what they have asked or ordered.
You SHOULDN'T be allowed to serve customers at the bar if you don't know what you are doing or if you DON'T feel like doing your job the right way.
To the new customers: If you are new to this place to eat and order a drink.....if this lady is the one serving your drink.....you may want to pay attention to how she is making your drinks and NOT be overcharged for a water down drink. You have the right to refuse it if NOT done...
Read moreStopped in for a bite to eat, and a beer. Maybe 12 people in there. I ordered the BLT, but they were out of lettuce. The waitress/ bartender/ cook (all same person) told me I probably shouldn't order anything off the grill, because she was there by herself, and it might take a long time. So I ordered beef tips. The beef tips sucked. They were tough and shoe leather, and they weren't very hot. Very disappointed. It was pretty noisy in there, it was obvious, a few of those in there had plenty to drink. So the only thing I guess I can say about my experience, the two beers I had were good and cold. Other than that I...
Read moreI'm not sure if they were under staffed or having a bad day, but the service was sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow today.
That being said, staff is friendly, food is good and place is clean.
......
I just read the reviews apparently being slow is average here and the food is not worth the wait. Nice place, but would not recommend or return.
Had to ask for napkins and now can't pay the bill. Because I need to hunt down waitstaff. Haven't been offered another drink...
