Frutta Bowls — Restaurant in Ewing Township

Tasty bowls with a good amount of options! Service is usually very good. My experience has been that they RARELY had the graviola mix ready. I think it may have been ready to go once. I went last week, and the same thing... graviola wasn't ready. When they blend it to order, it's more soupy than it is firm because it hasn't had time to set and become a firm base. The other thing that is concerning and more important than soupy graviola is the fact that they cut the bananas in half with the skin on. That's all types of food service no no, given the transfer of bacteria from the outer skin into the edible fruit. I reached out to the owners some time ago to suggest they change their practices but doesn't look like that made it down the chain. The way the bananas are stored with the stickers still on them, it doesn't appear that they are pre-washed. If they are pre-washed and they choose to cut them in half with the skin on, that's a different story. But not washing them and doing that, and then serving that to customers is not good and a recipe for food poisoning. I was disappointed to see that practice still in...

Love the company as a whole but this company's location operates at a snail's pace. It’s like watching grass grow 😒😒 irritates me badly. just to retrieve my smoothie, and the smoothie is warm like piss, and I ended up giving it away. The ice did little to help. Shouldn’t have taken all of 30 minutes for my order at an establishment that wasn't even full. I was the only customer placing an order at the time and I believe it was another who was waiting for their order. I was on my lunch break and it took all of my time for toast and a smoothie. I'm not hip to ordering online and picking up especially since I was undecided on the way. I walked out and walked back in to add ice to my smoothie. Had a terrible experience with the Ewing cafe. The young woman making my order which was the hulk forgot to add strawberries and coconut flakes which I specifically asked for and only put peanut butter in the corner of one side of my bowl. Then her and a woman I believe to be the manager placed my order and my friends on the counter, I told my friend to hold on when she went to grab her order because they are suppose to bag it up for us but all of the employees ignored my remark and after standing there for about 4 minutes we bag our own bowls. We had to fight with them just to get plastic spoons, but before we had ordered there were 2 different orders infront of us (a younger white girl and a pair of two white girls) both of which were bagged for the customers...
