My girlfriend and I ordered a chai latte and frozen coffee through the drive through yesterday. It took about 5 minutes for anyone to even realize we were sitting there and take our order. Once we placed it and paid we sat at the window for about another 5 minutes then an employee came and asked what we ordered again as if they forgot. There was about 6 workers that we could see just sitting around or dancing through the window. They then told us to park in the front and they would bring our drinks out. After about 10 minutes of waiting I finally went inside and tried to get the attention of some of the workers at the front of the restaurant and they all seemed to have looked at me then continued to ignore me. Finally someone came over and I told them we had been waiting almost 20 minutes for 2 drinks and he went to check on them. They were just being made in that moment. Keep in mind there was nobody in line ahead of us or behind us the whole time we were there. The workers are just incompetent and seem to have no idea what was going on. In summary, we paid $10 for 2 horrible drinks and a 20 minute wait. Management needs to get a hold of this place. it’s horrible....
Read moreI cannot thank Carlos and Max for going the extra mile to find my phone. Yesterday evening I went with friends to the Panera on the Campus of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ. When I got home I realized I did not have my phone. I was able to track my phone back to Panera. When I called them I spoke to Carlos, the manager. He said no one turned in the phone and he checked with the diners at the table where I sat to no avail. He suggested that I check with Panera in the morning. I was so upset I could not wait until the morning so a friend and I drove back last night before they closed. As my friend and I arrived in the parking lot my husband called from home and said Carlos called to say he found the phone and put it in the safe for safekeeping. It seems that after the table where I sat was cleared Carlos and a co-worker, Max, checked the area again. This time they removed the cushion where I was sitting and there was my phone. Carlos realized that my call to Panera checking about the phone was the last incoming call at the restaurant so he called it to tell us that he and Max found the phone. Thank you so much...
Read moreI usually give the benefit of the doubt in situations like this because I myself know the feeling of being in a rush and being short staffed. But when you’ve waited 15 minutes for a smoothie that’s been sitting on the counter, you get the doubt of the situation. My fraternity was having a fundraiser and I ordered a smoothie through the app for rapid pickup. At 6:00pm, I arrived expecting to see my smoothie on the shelf as my orders in the past have been on the shelf on or shortly after the time of pickup. Two smoothies were on the counter but I assumed they were for another customer. As I waited, I saw order after order that had just been placed on the counter be swiftly put on the shelf except the smoothie. This franchise needs to learn how to handle the amount of to go orders they get and use FIFO (first in, first out) in to go orders as well. And for the texture of the smoothie, watery as hell. I could’ve paid less at Tropical Smoothie Cafe and gotten a larger and...
