Red Star Pizza 3 — Restaurant in Ewing Township

I've been in this area for about 30 years now and seeing this place change from Red Star, to Red Star 2, it's a red star 3 as it is now.

I've had their pizza during the red star original and 3 (now), nothing I can remember about 2.

I'm not sure if it was an ownership change but I can tell you that they're barbecue chicken pizza has changed. It used to be a lot more chunky and uneven and now it is phenomenal. It was good before, but it's perfectly spread out and delicious now. Every time I get it I eat multiple slices and it's always meant by a kind person behind the counter.

Their service is very attentive and I'm giving it 5 stars for their pizza, but I did try their wings once and they were not good. Basic fried wings with breading but the type you would buy in the frozen freezer section. Didn't taste quality.

I've worked at a few pizza places throughout my days as a delivery driver and have had all different types of wings and food. Like I said, the pizza here absolutely slaps without a doubt, but I can't attest for the rest of the menu. For what I get it's a five-star review and I'll update it if that changes.

The reason I gave it four stars for atmosphere is because it's very small and it's really just good for sitting down to have a quick slice but not really for privacy and conversation like that. Everything is very close together and there's only a few tables but they make good of what...

THE WHOLE EXPIRIENCE WAS AWFUL STARTING WITH THE ORDERING CONVERSATION. I ASKED SPECIFICALLY FOR CERTAIN INGREDIENTS ON MY GRILLED CHICKEN SALAD WHICH I THOUGHT WAS UNDERSTOOD!! RIGHT BEFORE HANGING UP THE PHONE THE GIRL TELLS ME THE PRICE ASSUMING THAT I WANTED THE LARGER SIZE WITHOUT ASKING I CLARIFIED IT FOR HER!! OK SO I HET THERE TO PICK UP MY ORDER AND CHECK THE BAG TO SEE THAT EVERYTHING IS THERE. STARTING WITH THE SALAD I ASKED FOR LETTUCE (NO ICEBERG) CUCUMBERS RAW ONIONS RED BUT THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY BLK OLIVES TOMATOES AND A LITTLE FRESH GARLIC. WELL THERE WERE NO OLIVES VERY FEW TOMATOES NO BREAD NO UTENSILS!! SOO AT THIS POINT IM PISSED OFF THAT POINT I HAD TO ASK FOR OLIVES ON THE SIDE ASK FOR BREAD I WAS TOLD THAT DOESNT COME WITH IT HAD TO ASK FOR MY SALAD DRESSING WHICH I CLEARLY SPECIFIED BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE NOT BALSAMIC VINEGAR WELL APPARENTLY THEY DONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE!!! EVENTUALLY IASKED FOR FRENCH INSTEAD WHICH SHE BRINGS OUT 2 SML PACKS OF DRESSING I HAD TO ASK FOR 2 MORE AND EVENTUALLY PAY FOR GARLIC BREADSTICKS BECAUSE THE BREAD SHE GAVE ME WAS DRY AND HARD AND APPEARED TO BE OLD!! OVERALL THE BEST THING WAS THE GARLIC BREADSTICKS!! I USED TO GO THERE FREQUENTLY YRS AGO AND HAVE REFERRED MANY PEOPLE THERE AT THAT TIME THE OWNERS WERE VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY THEN!! Recently I was reading the local town paper and I was delighted to see my favorite pizza place on the front page! (Congrats Guys)

I have been going to Red Star for years and I have to say that EVERY visit has been lovely. The staff is friendly and always warm and welcoming. I go to Red Star on my lunch break they have a wide selection of FRESH sliced pizza along with fantastic specials that are creative and reasonably priced! With the lunch rush the Red Star staff always seems to amaze me because they are quick and efficient which makes my lunch break simple. My favorite pizza to the order is fresh mozzarella, fresh basil and sliced tomatoes with some balsamic glaze and every time It is cooked to perfection!
