AAFES is ripping off the Soldiers - again

I heard the manager claim the place generates revenue of $83,000 a month. That won't last long and the place will end up like it did before it closed to "remodel" and will go out of business if things don't change; especially the poor quality of food for the outrageous price.

I thought the place might have improved since re-opening, but it hasn't. The prices are unbelievable. Even though your "dining in" your given your order in a bag. The Whopper bun tasted stale or it was freezer burnt and had a slight chemical taste. Though I ate the sandwich within 1 minute of the associate calling my number, the "meat" was cold and had a watery taste. The wrapper the Whopper came in was covered in ketchup which was all over the bun and made it impossible to not get ketchup all over your hands. The wrapper also contained the enormous amount of lettuce which was so much the Whopper couldn't hold it all. The lettuce and tomato tasted like a dry mealy water, there was no pickle and only the onion tasted like it should. Maybe the oil was new, but the fries had no taste and the texture was as if they were hollow. At least the drink fountain worked correctly. The place was was well staffed, but the hours are radiculous 0600-1400. What restaurant isn't open for dinner?

I've eaten at Burger King since the 70's so I know what the food use to be. This is NOTHING like any Burger King I ate at in the USA from the 1970's to the early 2000's. I spent a lot of time overseas and the Burger King's in Europe and Asia taste much better than they do in the US they taste like the old BK. Burger King FWW needs to do better. Especially so soon after Grand Opening. There is zero need to have run out of beef (Apparently their broiler is broke and cant cook beef) without any public announcement or statement being put out. It’s burger king. Not Chicken King. Also to send Burger King coupons out in the mail to turn them away is ridiculous. Customer service has also been subpar at best. Also, the biggest complaint so far; Burger King nationwide serves Whoppers all day, including during breakfast hours. It is what makes BK different than other chains. This single BK in a 250 mile wide area should do better and try to live up to the BK standards. Someone needs to address the issues and please provide the community with announcements regarding these future...

I've been stationed at ft wainwright for three years now and in three years I've never had a good experience there. Not to mention in the past three years I've never seen them open on time not once has the shake machine actually been working and never have I gone in and not been told that their out of something I ordered. The staff is rude and unfriendly and just seem like they don't want to help you. The manager is the worst being that she just blatantly does not care about customer service. Your food will always be cold or take forever to be ready even if you are the only customer in the place expect at least a 15 min wait and if you ask why it's taking so long the answer is always "we're double checking it" Horrible place to eat take your...
