What separates this establishment is seen in part by the owner responding publicly and with clarity to any issues. As someone who is from a time when coffee stands were unknown and a latte was something served to the privileged, I appreciate quality. I don't eat a lot of the menu but I appreciate a toasted bagel with sausage, egg and cheese that is not microwaved in any way. When I unwrap my sandwich it is hot and not "damp" from being microwaved. Coffee whether it is drip or an americano is made the way I like it. I don't have to pay extra for making my drinks "extra blond"...above all it is the customer service that brings me back. Being from the "old school" when employees represented the owner of a business when at work I appreciate the professionalism exhibited by this companies work force from front window courtesy to addressing customer issues. Supporting this small business won't be a waste of effort in my opinion. FYI as a UAF alumni I appreciate this business recruiting UAF students...

I go to grinders basically every single day because it is right across where I work and I have been disappointed very few times. The kickers are very good and the food is amazing. I go there so much the baristas know me by name and know my order by heart and it makes it a lot easier. Great customer service and I tip as much as I can afford every time I go. Most of the time I am always greeted by grace. She is my favorite and the best at making my drink and She is very nice and sweet and always asks how I’m doing and gets a conversation rolling. you don’t get that at most coffee hutts usually it’s just order and wait for you food then drive off. but I enjoy every time I go there and it’s almost boring going to other hutts now. Grinders is the Best place in Fairbanks for quick food and delightful drinks. My coffee was perfectly balanced, fresh flavor of the beans, and the texture was pleasantly smooth.The food is exceptionally delicious, my favorite was the Pepperoni Pizza Sliders packed with flavor and juiciness. The team is so friendly and welcoming, they really take care of you and pay attention to every detail. The Grinder’s Gourmet Coffee is just set apart in so many wonderful ways, to other places I’ve been.
