Not a great experience here for me & the wife. Ordered our food and was told the kitchen was "too busy" to make appetizers. Ordered a "Cheese Steak" sandwich, which was decent, but strangely devoid of any noticeable amount of actual cheese. Recommend this item just be renamed "Meat in a bun" for clarity's sake. Wife had ordered a mushroom swiss burger, which in its defense, did have at least 3 pieces of mushroom hiding under the melted cheese. Wait staff was great, but the person at the front taking orders seemed entirely annoyed & disgruntled by the fact people came to a restaurant and were ordering food, and visibly rolled her eyes and huffed & puffed to the customers in the line about how inconvenient the experience of taking orders was.
The events held at this location, however are amazing. The painting classes / events are excellent and I can't recommend them enough, but I'd advise anyone going to them to grab a bite to eat elsewhere prior, and avoid spending 40-50 dollars for a ...
Read moreI wanted to love it here.. I really did. My husband and I ordered the roast beef dip and bacon cheeseburger, with corn fritters. I had ordered the prime rib cheddar, but they didn’t have and my husband ordered fish and chips.. they had neither. His burger was fine, mine dry and meh.. fries and onions rings .. GREASY, no seasoning, and no salt or pepper at the table. The bartender very nice and decent drinks.. but, here is thing , 75 dollars and tip.. not great. The server was sweet, but . maybe they should say what they did not have, when a patron orders. Not her fault, but she is the one representing the place of business. I know it’s a bar, I know it’s Fairbanks..We can do better, I want a nice evening off, that I can watch a game, listen to music, relax and enjoy a night out. This place is not unique , it seems the excuse of being in Fairbanks gives a reason to replace good service...
Read moreThe southwest egg rolls were not crunchy, should have known from there it wasn’t gonna get better. My son got the 3 piece chicken dinner, he generally eats well. It was so dry he didn’t even finish a 1/2 piece. It looked like it had been cooked then refrigerated or frozen and put back in the fryer to warm. My husband got the dip big portion but dry and not appealing. My daughter got the burger she seemed fine with it but she’s 6. I got a chef salad how can you mess that up right? Well it was far from advertised/described. The romaine was fresh and crisp the chicken was dry. It was cubes of ham and pieces of bacon, hardly any tomato, only shredded cheese, large pieces of raw onion no egg, no garlic bread the ranch was watered down and runny. All this for $109 but because we didn’t pay cash it went to $114 when they ran my card! Please don’t waste your...
