Seriously, one of the best overall breweries Iāve tried in a long time. Great, truly beer-focused brewery (vs restaurant or...whatever ābreweriesā). Each style of beer tastes the way it should, which is becoming rare these days. Iām a pretty hard critic and I could find no fault with any of the six I tried. The Kolsch was one of the..top 5(?) Iāve had around the world, including Kƶln. Delicious, light, easy drinking, but quite flavorful. Itās a great universal beer that would pair well with so many things. I can recommend the Stout as well; smooth, creamy, and old world delicious. No weird flavors or additives. I was told itās often on Nitro. I can imagine that would lift it even another notch. Staff were all great and the entire place gives off a really relaxing vibe, even with COVID (also hard to accomplish). Rotating food trucks, call ahead. A real gem in far...

The star beer of the visit was the Maibock. Arguably one of the most memorable beers of our trip. This clean German lager had a creamy white head, a lightly spiced aroma, and honey sweetness that made it incredibly satisfying. It's a beer that strikes the perfect balance between complexity and drinkability.
The brewery's outdoor space was teeming with people during our visit, full of locals enjoying the sunny day. Fireplaces added warmth and coziness, making it family-friendly, where everyone could relax. Inside, the spacious taproom offered a quieter refugeāperfect for medium-sized groups on less favorable weather days.
Be sure to check out their Instagram page if you're hungry - they have a rotation of food trucks daily, so you won't...

The team at Hoodoo are firing on all cylinders. We visited this micro brewery in an industrial park on a Thursday evening. Their running club had just returned and the place was lively with customers, children, tourists, and locals.
The approx. dozen beers were varied and well-executed. The front of house team was welcoming and very efficient. This is a very well executed operation.
Interestingly, patrons are limited to a perfectly-acceptable 35-ish ounces per day as this is a tasting room and not regulated as a bar. They do offer 4x4oz flights, so you're covered.
Hoodoo also has a regular schedule of food trucks. On this night, chef Konrad was serving up remarkably good German food from his Mein Diner truck. Would've been worth the trip...
