As a follow up to my son's complaint (Christian Prickett) it is apparent that the delivery driver never confirmed the identity of the person receiving the order. Had he done so, my son and his wife and his two daughters would not have gone hungry, never receiving the pizza that they ordered and had paid for. NOT GOOD BUSINESS!!! Then on top of that, the pizza phone order person argues with my son and does not acknowledge the mistake or even offer to correct it while two little girls don't have their pizza and are hungry. STAY AWAY FROM R' PIZZA PLACE!!! Postscript: As to the owner's reference regarding my use of harsh language, maybe the owner doesn't have any grandchildren, but I do. And that night thanks to the incompetence and repeated mistakes made by the delivery boy as well as the phone order person, they had no dinner at R Pizza Place, but had to go to another place for dinner. There were just too many mistakes in my opinion. The apology is appreciated, but the harm was already done. As for the offer of a free meal, we live 2 hours away and do not normally frequent restaurants in the Columbiana, Ohio area. The gesture is appreciated, but it is not possible to take...
Read moreYikes. Don't go here if you're looking for a pleasant experience. A few things have happened here... First of all, we used to go here all the time because I loved these mac n cheese triangle things they have. That was literally the only reason we would go. Well the waitress (the only ONE they had) was always rude and inattentive. Basically just, take your order..drop off your food..thats it until the check comes. No checking up on your during or anything. Secondly, there came a point where my husband was forced to quit his job due to health issues. He decided to apply at R Pizza place since it was so close to our home and a very different work environment than he had been in previously. Well he worked there for maybe a month or so, then suddenly we were sent a letter from the owner saying he would no longer be employed there! No warning! No reason! Don't eat here or try to work here if you want a good experience.
I've also had the owner MESSAGE me on my personal social media account and say she would call the police and say I was harassing her for posting my experience on the businesses...
Read moreBefore I say what I have to say, I am not much of a review guy. I thought It was a routine lunch day here at my place of business, however, I couldn't have been more wrong..... I decided to give R's another go as there Reuben roll I had tried was good enough to go back. I went with a meatball hoagie this time around, little did I know this was no ordinary meatball hoagie. The moment I bit into this thing, I suddenly realized I had punched a one way ticket to flavortown. From that point on.....I knew I'd better buckle up...... for I was about to embark on a journey I'd never thought possible. From the nice crunch of the outer bun, to the baked goodness and softness of the inside of the bun, the marinara and meatball combo made me feel like I was in the ring with Iron Mike himself, hugging the ropes for deer life as this thing just came out swinging from the sound of the bell. Just happy having to have been there and being granted the opportunity to go toe to toe with this thing, King of all hoagies. I will refer to this hoagie as, Thee Iron Meatball.
Thank...
