Golden Oak Restaurant — Restaurant in Fairview Heights

This is 2 months old. I am reposting because it was missing, but I found it in my history. So here is a copy/paste of my review from 2 months ago. Original review below: Horribly disappointed today. We left. We liked this place. But today was horrid. Never got a menu. Never got coffee or water. Never got recognition of we busy, but will get to you. A waitress cleaned an already clean table next to us and didn't ask us anything. It was like we were invisible. The biggest disappointment was the Male host. Useless. He stood around doing nothing. Just standing one table away at his podium. He could of helped out. They had minimal business. Huge huge disappointment. We won't be back for a long time. Mediocre. Cracker Barrel style atmosphere, but the food comes out luke warm. I happened to make the mistake of looking up at the fans. The blades on almost all of them ate sagging down as well as they're caked in dust. Dust is comprised of mostly dead skin cells. Not exactly...

Place went cheap. Plastic forks, cups and plates. Coffee served in a paper cup. Very expense for this. Breakfast for two was $38 for a cheap presentation. Food was luke warm. ...
