Dave's Pizza — Restaurant in Fall River

I highly recommend daves pizza to everyone. I love pizza # 1 favor food for me. I always went with dominos, but thats getting boring after a while. I also ordered pizza from atlas they are good to, but anyway daves is Unique in there own way they aren't like anyone else they are different which i like. I want diversity and thats what Dave's is. They have amazing pizza, bbq chinken tenders, Calzones, Cinnamon knots and, so much more great stuff to offer. None of there food gets old. What makes them Unique is that Portuguese pizza i have never seen any pizza place make that. Nothing even close.

It all started with my aunt and her friend they got flyer and they ordered some food from there and they got hooked. My aunt was having birthday party and she had ton of daves pizzas and chinken wings for the party. I was invited over there to try some food out and my mother and i loved it along with friends and family. Since trying it out at my aunts birthday party, my mother went out and ordered enough pizza and wings for her birthday party. I also ordered enough pizza and chinken tenders for wrestlemania ppv party. Since trying the chinken tenders i am also hooked to thoose now along with that Portuguese pizza. I believe that Portuguese pizza is Unique. I have ordered pizza from several different places and i never seen anything like it. I would patent that, if you could?

I also love that bbq sauce that you use on that home made chinken tender enough that i called to see if i could buy a bottle to use at home for like spare ribs or just home cooking. I haven't got answer to that cause it was late but i am pretty sure if i talked to Dave they would work something out, well see?

I highly recommend this to anyone young or old and you don't need to be Portuguese to go here even though its a Portuguese style food.

I wish this business the best luck cause some others have failed in this same location but i believe that this business will make it at least i hope so, cause i hate getting hooked to something and you can never get it again cause bussiness goes out out of bussiness or changes there recipes. Also they stop making hit foods. If you are doing something right dont change it.

Not usually one for reviews but, despite having decent food- I can't tolerate the atrocious customer service and the disrespectful run around.

My SO and I ordered dinner on a Sunday night, we called asking if we could get garlic knot crust on a small pizza and the woman said yes. This was going to factor into our decision on what to get so, we told the woman we would call back and order once we viewed the menu. When we called back, someone else answered and said you cannot get that type of crust on a small. Again, we hung up so that we could decide on a large pizza to split because we really wanted the garlic knot crust.

We called back, the woman answered again, we ordered. She repeated the order back to us and said it would be 45 minutes. The pizza arrived an hour and a half later. My partner also ordered jalapeño poppers. He gets back in the house and the food is STONE cold. We had to heat up the food in the oven which added another 15 to 20 minutes before we could even eat AND we did not get a garlic knot crust we had ordered. That was the only reason why we ordered from here. We called to check on the order at the hour and 10 minute mark and she said "the guy just left, we got busy right after you called". Which I can understand but, don't show up an hour and a half after we ordered with freezing cold food and expect that to be okay. I called the restaurant and asked for a manger, he asked the woman who took the order what happened and she said it was a guy who called (my SO placed the order) and denied the whole thing which I could hear in the background. When she got back on the phone I called her on lying and she said "oh yeah you guys did order that". The manager Luigi, asks what we wanted to do 1. have a new one sent (at now 9pm) or 2. a store credit. I told them I didn't want a store credit and to just credit our card back for the mistakes and the nonsense we had been put through. They said no problem and that it will take 3 days to refund. 4 days later we checked, still no refund. I called back and spoke to Luigi again and a younger male. They asked for our phone number and texted my boyfriend some excuse about the bank but assured that we would get the money back. To this day, a month later. no refund. Will...

So Dave’s pizza just open back up again, and let me just say that I am not impressed at all. I called and tried placing an order for delivery and it was over an hour wait, 15-20 minute wait for pick up. After being told that, we decided to go pick up the pizza. Upon arriving, the place was a zoo. The man who was cooking the pizza was not wearing gloves or a mask, the person that was taking orders at the counter had a mask on but didn’t have it over his nose. He asked us if we were picking up and we said yes, he told us OK and turned around and placed other orders while our pizza was sitting there ready to be given to us. He then stepped away from the cash register to make a personal phone call on his cell phone, he then came back and asked us if we were all set. We informed him that we already told him that we were waiting for a pizza and that’s when he finally gave it to us. We left, went home and opened our pizza to a huge disappointment. The recipe and ingredients are completely different from what they were. They used to use nice strips of sirloin cut steak for their Portuguese steak pizza, now they use shredded steak. As I was biting into the pizza, there was hard pieces of bone inside the steak. I’ve encountered this twice in just four slices. The Portuguese steak fries I ordered were completely dry in the egg was poorly cooked. The sauce on the Portuguese steak pizza was over powering and super soggy considering they use thin crust for pizza now. Are used to be really fond of this place but I will not be returning.
