If I could give this place a million stars, I would. We drove into this area from Boston to check out the Matouk towel sale. My mother has a coworker from Portugal and he rants and raves about how great this restaurant is. My mother has wanted to try this place forever. We brought my aunt, and 18 month old son here for lunch.
We walked in and I was nervous because it looked so nice and more upscale than we thought. I didn’t want my son to disturb anyone as he can be noisy. The person who greeted us was happy to see a baby and was more than welcoming and reassuring that he was welcome. She brought a high chair out for us and was SO kind. She knew to sit us away from the other patrons and we greatly appreciated that (I’m sure the other diners did as well). My mom had a million questions about the menu and our waitress (wish I caught her name) was SO eager to explain everything. She clearly LOVES her job and was super knowledgeable about every menu item. She made some recommendations and she even showed us a similar dish that was going out on the floor to what we ordered. She brought over a small plate to share our food with my son. Everything we ordered was 11/10’delicious. The meals came out piping hot just how we like it. She was so attentive and timed her appearances at our table magically. She was truly the best waitress any of us have had in as long as we can remember. The food was EXCEPTIONAL. The best meals we have had in so long. Every time we are in the area we hope to stop by. This place is...
Read moreWhat a wonderful dining experience. My wife and I stopped there for our first time on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. We’d never been and we were craving a Portuguese restaurant. We sat at the bar. Mackenzie was our bartender and she was excellent! She was attentive and friendly. She’s top notch! We ordered some drinks and our lunch items. They were SO quickly delivered. So here are our thoughts: the Portuguese pops were amazing! They are from a local bakery right nearby. They are hearty and crusty. Delicious pops! My wife had the steak sandwich with 1 egg - she wished she’d ordered 2! It was delicious served with the Portuguese style fries. I had the Portuguese fish filets. SO excellent. 3 pieces of very thick cod loins - not thin pieces at all. So, originally I was worried about the prices, but there is SO much being served it’s definitely worth it. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner and she’s a wonderful hostess. We’ll be back for sure and we highly...
Read moreThe Estoril Restaurant is by far the best restaurant in the area for Portuguese food. The Portuguese steak is made with an amazing piece of sirloin that melts in your mouth and the gravy is so good you will want to ask for additional sauce on the side for extra dunking. The rice and Portuguese fries are so simple and yet perfect. I also highly enjoy the fisherman's pie, the chicken (or steak) estoril (an amazing mushroom gravy) or anything with the Mozambique sauce, from shrimp, chicken, pasta or even wings. My girlfriend introduced this restaurant to me a few years ago and has become a family staple. Not only will you absolutely love the food, the Moniz family (owner and operators) will make you feel like family. If I could give this review more...
