Sandwich was great, no complaints. Coffee was great too. Now, let's discuss their namesake flagship. The donuts. I'm new to the south coast so I'll admit I haven't had many boutique donuts until recently. Grandma's in New Bedford was life changing for me. These donuts from homemade are right on par with them. Not the same though! These are light, airy, puffy and not overly sweet. I'm absolutely going to order again! Thank you for giving us something special in the donut game. I used to absolutely love this place & recommend it to everyone!! Not sure if they changed owners or just the person running it everyday but she is very unpleasant & not helpful short if you ask questions & will even snap at you! It was the only place we got donuts for 7 yrs.. They also changed the menu by taking away our favorite things. No more sausage 🥐. We also used to get glazed lemonade filled & glazed Bavarian cream but now they just tell me no. Even though they have everything needed! Disappointed in the new staff. My husband and I got our donuts for our wedding here and they were phenomenal!!! We had so many guests comment on how great they were and they were such a huge hit that we only had a few left at the end of the night. Not only were the donuts amazing but the two women we worked with were both so sweet and ensured we got what we were looking for. I would highly recommend calling and placing your order in advance (we placed ours about a month in advance and confirmed it with the shop a few days before our event) as it definitely made the process less stressful for us and the shop.
