Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Falls Township

I stood in front of the window for about 6 minutes while nobody took the time to help me. Finally I knocked on the window and a woman came from the back on a phone and looked at me and walked out of view. Meanwhile it's 100° out and all I'm trying to do is patronize a local business. After 3 more minutes I knock on the window again and the woman finally ask me what I need. No apology or acknowledgment of the situation. I bought 6 quarts and they were out of two of the most popular flavors. It takes 20 more minutes to scoop the six quarts then they are placed on the counter without the employee writing down what flavors they are. I asked that she write down what is what and please place everything in a bag so I can get everything home. For some strange reason she doesn't double bag 6 quarts and I am terrified the whole way home that the bag will break and get all over my car. This was just a lot to deal with for simply trying to patronize a local business. There's another Rita's Water Ice the opposite way on New Falls Road that I can easily go to next time. But this was a very awkward experience just to spend $50...

Worse service and ordering experience I have had. And I go once a week here. Maybe time to drive down the street to the other one.

Story Waiting in line for 40 minutes for girl to come out an say there closing at 9 even though I’ve been sitting in line for 40 minutes. An I wasn’t the only one there was 3 behind me that have all been waiting. Never heard of store just shutting off everything when people have been waiting since before closing time. You take the people that have been waiting not anymore. Then they actually took my order with attitude toward me an the rest of the people waiting an got my order wrong entirely. If I where the owner of this franchise I’d be cleaning house even with kids not...

Was one of the worst experience I ever had. My boyfriend and I go to ritas all the time in the summer and tonight might change that. We order our water ice and the girl waiting on us was nice. Until after we order, we realized she gave us the wrong flavor. We ordered juicy pear and was given citrus blast totally different tastes. We go back up and was given a rude attitude from the whole staff there. They were all given us faces and didn't believe us when we told them we got the wrong flavor. We told them to forget it after a few minutes of telling them. Honestly if you mess up own up to it. We weren't mad at all until they gave us an attitude....
