Papa Jake's Pizza — Restaurant in Falmouth

Went to this pub/ restaurant on a recommendation from a friend( we are not tourists) the pizza was average, hamburger over cooked- it is a sunday- we didn't complain. Had a wonderful pear martini . However, the next drink was a jalapeño based vodka drink. The drink was not good -way to much jalapeño juice, could not drink it. We politely told the waitress that I was sorry but I could not drink it, could I order another drink. I ordered a cosmo which was a good. However, when the bill arrived the jalapeño drink was still on the bill. We pointed this out and the waitress said she had to get her manager. We'll, the manager approached us and started reprimanding us-stating "its our policy that if you ordered the drink and don't like it - it's not our problem- why should we ( the restaurant have to pay for it) remind you , we weren't complaining about the food or over cooked hamburger and cold fries- never mentioned it.So, as we were in the process of paying( in cash) the manager came back over and told us that " we are banned from the restaurant because they had removed the drink( as ahe was handing us our new check). I was in disbelief , I then went and found the waitress on the side and gave her a cash tip. In summary, I can not believe how the restaurant/ manager expects you to pay for a way below average item. I find that some restaurants in the falmouth area are unwelcoming and expect you to pay for inferior drinks and food- especially in this economy. They are not appreciative towards their customers and are down right rude. I will be telling our many friends and visitors not to waste there time going to...

I usually don't do reviews but decided to this time. Called in to order a Steak Bomb sub and a Roast Beef sub this week. Was asked if I wanted the roast beef sub heated (yes) and I asked for cheese and other toppings. Specifically said "sub" on both. Steak Bomb was apparently fine (was not my sandwich) but the roast beef was absolutely awful. It was on a hamburger roll(?!)-so clearly not a sub, meat was cold-so definitely not heated, the cheese was not even a little melted and the bottom roll was so soggy I couldn't eat it. Order also took way longer than we were told on the phone so it's not like it sat there waiting too long because we waited for the order to be ready. I have heard nothing but great things about this place so I decided to give it a try and I’m highly disappointed. I ordered a salad with chicken on it and it’s pretty small portions for $18.00 I ordered online and asked for balsamic dressing I picked up my food got to the car and there was the wrong dressing I went back inside to ask for the correct dressing and the girl working the counter informed me after the fact they didn’t have the dressing I requested which would have been fine had they told me that when I ordered or even when I picked up the food… had I not checked the bag I would of been much more upset.
