Smitty's Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Falmouth

Went here with the family and the smell of freshly made waffle cones filled the surrounding air!! Very pleasing,, almost a CoCoa/brownie smell. I really liked the selection of ice cream flavors. I chose Mint Oreo (dislike Choco chips) as it didn't contain any. Maple Walnut went to my youngest(Damm Good) not no Friendly's type quality either. The two beautiful women greeted us with how much to get from the ATM as they're cash only. And we're happy to explain the flavors and what they contained(not I've explained this a thousand times attitude) and to top it off there was a whole trolley/train car out back that you can actually eat in after you order. The Ice Cream portions are a little small compared to other places I've been too but The quality was On-Point and Delicious. Very Kool Vintage 1900's feel to it. Like they got it from a Museum. This man Smitty knew what he was doing when he purchased this property! Wow... its a beautiful location. Property is large and nicely manicured. Lots of seating with many park benches and picnic tables. We loved sitting beneath the tree strung lighting at night. So pretty! Let's talk about the homemade ice cream... amazingly creamy and many flavors to choose from. Hubby had the butter crunch and he said it delicious,I had chocolate peanut butter and that too was amazing! The 4 kiddos ranging from ages 15-22 all complemented their flavor choices and said it was the creamiest ice cream they ever had. The cost was reasonable as our bill for the 6 of us was $30. The ONLY change I would recommend is to have a staff member out in the yard washing the tables down as every table we attempted to sit at was covered in melted ice cream. Other than that...if we ever return to the Cape,we will add this to...

WE'RE LOCALS & ALL OF OUR FAMILY MEMBERS COME HERE QUITE OFTEN...WE WENT TO BUY A QUART OF ICE CREAM & THEY DID NOT HAVE THE FLAVOR THAT WE WANTED PRE-PACKED SO THE GIRL HAD TO SCOOP THE QUART FOR ME WHICH TOOK LESS THAN 3 MINUTES & SAID BECAUSE THEY DID NOT HAVE IT ALREADY PACKED THAT IT WOULD BE $14 INSTEAD OF THE ORIGINAL PRICE WHICH IS NORMALLY $8 !! I WAS ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED & IN DISBELIEF!!! IT LITERALLY FELT LIKE HIGHYWAY ROBBERY!! UNFORTUNATELY WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK AS THE OWNER THINKS THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NORMAL TO UPCHARGE PEOPLE FOR THEM TO PACK A QUART OF ICE CREAM...IT TOOK THE GIRL LONGER TO MAKE OUR (1)SUNDAE THAN IT DID FOR HER TO FILL THE QUART UP. I STILL CAN'T GET OVER THIS...IT'S INSANE!!! NEVER...
