Absolutely the worst pizza delivery company I have used in recent memory. I had not ordered Dominos in a long time, maybe 20 years and had mostly used a local competitor for at least the last decade or so. The competitor was really busy tonight and told me they wouldn’t be able to deliver for at least a couple hours, so....since I was really hungry I decided to give Dominos a try. They are also in my neighborhood - in fact less than 8 blocks away. I called in my order, gave them my address and phone number along with credit card info and waited. In the interim I was notified via text by my bankcard company that my account was charged for the order. After waiting over 2 and a half hours without delivery I finally called them back and inquired about my order. I didn’t get a good answer and their response was that they had tried to deliver and nobody answered the door. That is not possible considering I was within 30 feet of the front door the entire time, I have a working doorbell and a Nest doorbell to boot with video and sound notifications that never went off. There is NO WAY they tried to deliver anything to my door. Then, they announced that they delivered the pizza to the address in the “system “, which I can only suppose was my prior address in town that In have not lived at for over 20 years. So, they didn’t use the information I gave them over the phone for the order and instead decided to wing-it. Lastly, when I called back a second time to deal with the issue of my credit card that was charged but no pizza delivered they informed me they couldn’t re-credit my account for up to 3 days - even though they were more than able to taking my money immediately upon placing the order. What a horrible company. Nothing close to what they portray themselves like on TV. Needless to say......I will be going back to my old pizza delivery company, no matter how long they say it will take to produce and deliver. Updated: Robert the delivery driver was very disrespectful during my recent delivery. I used gift cards that I received from work and once he delivered the food, he called me and asked for a tip (because I forgot to tip & we live 3 blocks away AND we tip very generously everytime he delivers). He asked me if he could use the tips from the remaining gift card balance. Honestly, I’ve never had this happen to me before and it was so unprofessional. Ended up calling the dominoes location to speak to manager and he said it’s too busy to speak with a manager. He hung up on me during me speaking with him. I have lost respect for him and will make me not order from this location any longer. I hope the owner sees this and makes a change for who delivers orders to their customers.
