Taqueria El Tapatío — Restaurant in Farmersville

The only thing to like about this place is how cute it is decorated. We went in for lunch my dad ordered a combo plate with a taco and a chili verde burrito. What we got was a taco and a quesadillo. Dad said its ok when i wanted to let them know. After eating part of it and a taco off my plate, my husband goes up to tell her we didnt get what we ordered and she said i told her CV burrito and that is what she made so she served it to us full well knowing it wasnt what we ordered? Who does that.? Not to mention the price difference which was $4.00. So they served us something that they knew wasnt correct plus made us pay for something we didnt get. They never offered to make him the correct meal or burrito and didnt offer our money back. Needless to say we wont be back . And as a side note. As we sat there and ate whatever they wanted to serve us, there was approx. 2 different customers come back in with their order not correct or something wrong with it. And after all of this if you cant say what you did eat was very good then i think the sign is already on the wall And its gonna say under new management and have a new name and hopefully all around better service and food. The usual lady at the front counter is not a bright bright person, and yes it's Farmersville but they should have someone that talks English too. I'm done going to this place. I clearly Said taco plate so I can get Rice and beans with it, and everything on it except onions. When I picked it up.. it's a tiny box with meat only on the tacos. Then she wants to be rude when I said no beans and rice? She said oh u mean the combination plate. I said "plate" dummy...I got the drinks she turned and walked away with out saying a dam word. I stopped by for lunch. It's definitely out of my normal area. The food was good, nothing special, nothing bad either. The lady that helped me was very nice. I ordered the burrito supreme burrito which is really enough for two. You can see my pictures, that is half of it. My eyes were bigger than my stomach today.
