Basil's Pizza — Restaurant in Farmington

I went in and placed an order for a 16” pie, a wrap, and a pita pocket at 1830. I was told it would be 25 minutes. I said ok can you deliver it please. I am only 6 minutes down the road. Sure it will be $2. Ok paid my $2 and left at 1840. At 1931 I called and spoke with one of the employees who informed me that “they had gotten really busy and they had just taken my pie out of the oven and hadn’t even started on my wrap and pita pocket.” I was so shocked that I said “call me when it’s done and I’ll come get it.” Got off the phone and the more I thought about it the madder I got. I called back at 1939 and told the same employee “cancel my order and I’ll come get my refund.” I walked in the door at 1945 and she tells me that the manager said you can take your food since it’s ready but we can’t give you a refund. Long story short, the owner was called and she still refused to give me a refund. She said she would have to wait until Monday to refund with the card company. Even I was from here I would never step foot in this place again. If I could give 0 stars I’d do that. I did apologize to the teenage girls working there for biting their heads off. If you value your time and money and value customer service stay far far away...

The meal came late and the "chicken parms" we ordered were nothing more than chunks of dry chicken breast with watery marinara and unmelted shredded cheese on soggy bread. We paid $60 for this atrocity to Italian cuisine. When we called to speak with the manager who would not replace our sandwiches or refund our money (we were happy to return the entirely uneaten/uneatable sandwiches) the owner called us back to say that she did not care about customer satisfaction and would not make things right. We told her we would leave this review, she still would not make us actual chicken parm sandwiches; therefore, this review and warning to other potential patrons is her just reward. Do not give this woman your business - she cares nothing for the customer or the quality...

I loved getting food from here and so did my friends, unfortunately recent pizza orders have been so bad. Our large pizza with toppings had little to no cheese and small amounts of meat. Also the crust on the entire pizza was thinner than paper.

Not to mention while waiting for my food to be cooked a non employee who was covered in oil and mechanics grime went behind the counter and started making his own food. This tells me food saftey and cleanliness must not be a priority at this place. I am very disappointed as i have ordered many times and the food was great but after what i saw i will no...
