La Taqueria El Torito — Restaurant in Farmington

Until a year ago we never really had any problems with this place, today was a major one aside from the usual overcooked meat and rotten salsa, we waited for almost an hour and a half where everyone around us got their orders, we were the last vehicle there when about 7 minutes after closing we then got our food but we live 8 miles out of town so when we got home we checked and there were two orders missing 😤 4 asada tacos and asada fries is what we didn’t get. Two of us didn’t get food so we made sandwiches. Called this place and no answer and no voicemail either… they clean late but don’t bother to pick up the phone to see who might be missing an order. They won’t even be open till the 3rd of May… I admit I should have checked the order prior but we had company waiting from out of town at our home so I was in a hurry. Really not happy with this place. My daughter and cousin that did get their tacos had very little asada and it was over cooked. I drove up to order, thinking it was open, because bright light on taco truck was on. I opened my door to order; the young girl said they're closed. I told her I thought you were still open because your lights are on. I'm sure she was tired, just as I was hungry and tired. As I backed up my girls said," She flipped you off." I walked over to the bldg, & I asked her why she was flipping me off, she cuss "Bit@! NONSTOP FLIPPING ME OFF, READY TO attack me, mgr was holding her back. I will be reporting this to the BBB today. This was very unprofessional, the mgr in my face twice as i was leaving she held my door open while i was trying to shut it, I had to push her away from my truck to shut the door. I video the last part before I left,mgr.came out again, talking nonstop, this happened so fast. Why did your very young employee cuss and flip me off as customer! Thats the main issue, whatever they told you is probably a lie, customers are always RIGHT! This behavior of your mgr and employee happened in front of 2...

Oh my god! They have some amazing food!!!

I pass by the food truck almost everyday, and have always been tempted to stop. I finally did. So I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, especially since I live down the street.

It is a bit of a wait. But I would rather wait for amazing, fresh food than have my food already bagged up for me while I’m about to pay. Lord knows how long their food has been sitting underneath a heat lamp.

I got 2 al pastor tacos, 2 birria tacos, and an order of carne asada fries, and of course you have to accompany that with a coke from Mexico.

I was surprised big the carne asada fries order was. I went to the taco shop on 20th and paid over $10 for an order or carnitas fries and they have me half of what I got here. So this WILL be my go to place for carne...
