I was not prepared for the culinary delight that awaited me at Avid Coffee Roasters in Farwell, Texas. In the heart of what many might call the middle of nowhere, a true oasis of caffeinated perfection exists. Stepping inside, I was greeted by an atmosphere of warmth and genuine hospitality by a wonderful lady and our Barista. The wonderful lady behind the counter listened with incredible patience and attention as I customized my order for today’s special: a pumpkin spiced latte with an extra shot of espresso. The care she took in crafting our drinks was evident in every detail. The resulting brew was nothing short of a masterpiece—perfectly balanced, rich, and with a robust kick from the added espresso shot. It was a flavor profile I would expect from a high-end roaster in a major city, not from a humble shop on Avenue A. This place is a testament to the fact that passion and skill transcend geography. Avid Coffee Roasters is an absolute must-visit, a hidden jewel that deserves all the praise it can get. Please, consider opening a branch in Austin; you would be an...

Well the coffee was really good as my wife really liked her Americano and Grandaughter liked her spiced pumpkin latte and cinnamon roll. The coffee is really good so I do reccommend trying it. I just wish I could have tried the Papa New Guinea or Tanzanian coffee. A very nice Mennonite...
Read moreOn a long ride back from Austin to Santa Fe I initially passed this place as its small and was unexpected in such a small town. So i turned around and was well rewarded for doing so with a perfectly made latte...and I'm a coffee snob - no Starbucks for me. I also picked up some fresh roasted whole beans for home, just ground some, and wow - really...great aroma, flavor, and consistency in the roasted bean. This stop was the best part of an otherwise long, not particularly scenic drive. The locals should consider themselves fortunate to have...
