Arby's — Restaurant in Fayetteville

I am a bit more than confused about the last two visits here. I came inside about two weeks ago and ordered a ruben. The cashier was training, and the manager was letting him swim some. I asked for the 1000 dressing not to be put on, sub with spicy mustard. Cashier is struggling but the cook in the back hollers up to the front line that he heard it, confirmed with me and had my sandwich on the counter before I could even pay. It was AWESOME five stars all the way.

A couple of days ago we opted to have an easy dinner and came through the drive through to get a sack of sandwiches. My wife always orders a sandwich as no bun and wrapped in lettuce. We get home to massive disappointment as the wrap was some meat thrown on top of some shredded lettuce in a clamshell. No effort at all. For some reason the meat in all the sandwiches was soggy and completely devoid of taste. It was like eating meat water. Didn't finish, total one star experience.

IDK what is going on here. Hot and cold experience within days of one another. I hope y'all can hold it together because a majority of the other chains around Fayetteville have gone beyond poor service...

I've never been inside this Arby's. It's very convenient to my house and I've gone through the drive-through many times. The accuracy of the order taking isn't very good. They mess up my order about every third time. Compared to other local fast food places that's not very good. Most of the others are closer to one in ten.

Another annoying thing is that they frequently make me pull forward and wait. It's what Wendy's ads used to call, "Please step aside". It's not like I order anything unusual. It's normally a roast beef sandwich.

It's food is pretty much the same as any Arby's: very salty shaved roast beef and an underwhelming variety of sides. I find the coating on the curly fries truly revolting. Getting rid of baked potatoes was one of the worst decisions Arby's has ever made.

The other choices are hit and miss. For example, the Ruben sandwiches started out great. Over time the quality of the corned beef has gotten really bad. I expect that is a corporate decision, so I don't hold it against the local place.

I expect I'll continue to go there because it's so convenient, but if it weren't I would...

EXTREMELY LONG WAIT!! 25 minutes to get to speaker with only 4 cars in front of us. Nothing said when we got to the speaker for 4 minutes. Told to wait 1 moment. Took our order 8 mins later. Pulled up to the window and paid. Told to pull up and wait for our food. Sat waiting for our food with no one at the window. ONLY made us pull up from the window to make drive through times meet expectations. Waited for our food after pulling up past the window for 6 minutes before the next person behind me paid for their food. Got our food 10 minutes after pulling from the window. TOTAL 47 MINUTES TO GO THROUGH THE BARELY BUSY DRIVE THRU TO GET 1 PERSONS ORDER. 1 SANDWHICH, FRIES, POPPERS, AND A DRINK.

Inside was moderately busy but still. Nothing was said about the wait.

Good Edit: Sandwich and fries were fresh. Poppers seemed they had been sitting out for a little bit but reasonable. Probably would've been fresh if time would've...
