Cook out is great! I dont go to them often but I always have issues at this location. I normally dont order food from this location because it's always wrong, and today was no exception. I normally just eat the difference, no pun intended, and be on my way but I decided to see how they would fix this. I ordered a burger with bacon chili and cheese. I headed home and took a bite on the way. No bacon. Another bite. Still no bacon. I look and find the problem. There was no bacon. The girl at the register offered to have them remake it. Great! Aaaaand then she comes back and says they are just going to cook me some bacon and i'll have to put it on there my self. A few minutes later they handed me a hotdog box with some bacon in it. Burger got cold, and now i get to eat hot bacon on cold beef.
2 stars because the girl at the register was apologetic and wanted to fix it. Otherwise it would get a 1 from me. This is 4 years of built up frustration. I dont normally do this because im to blame for thinking it would be different this time, but this broke me . . .
Back to 1 star. After speaking to their Customer Service and receiving a coupon for a complimentary tray, I decided to give them another chance. I went to the walk up window so I wouldnt hold up the line with a "I have a coupon" ordeal. I was ignored for the 5 minutes i stood there. Well, thats not accurate. They looked at me several times but no one would speak to me. That's fine. I waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes only to be asked to go to the walk up window with my coupon. I then proceeded to drive 20 minutes to the Ramsey St location and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent through drive thru tonight. I ordered our food, I was on the passenger. She had an attitude from the jump, she repeated the order messed it up, I repeated my order back and asked her did she have it, she didn't even respond. So I told my husband to drive up. We paid for our order and she handed one drink through the window and then came one tray. I told her she got the order wrong, but if you wasn't trying to be nasty you would of heard the order. She told me, I shouldn't order from the passenger side, the driver should order. I asked for a manager, she ignored me. Then proceeds to say I can ring you up for a walking taco and fruit punch, still with an attitude, so I'm still asking for a manager. My husband hand her the money and I said no give me my money I don't want nothing. So I said you the manager cos I noticed she had a plain black shirt on, she said "yes", have a nice night and close the window. The car in front of us had already pulled out the line probably because of her attitude. I WOULD NOT SPEND NOT ANOTHER CENT AT COOKOUT. If that's their representation of their company, then I'm quite sure they will be losing alot more customers. You in a city where there are alot of military, buisness people, and corporates. You never know who's coming through your line. You have people out here fighting for you to be free and to be able to take a order and take care of your family and you out here being nasty and rude to people. If you don't like your job hunny, get a new one. Don't sabotage the buisness,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLook. I enjoy cookout as much as the next person but my experience there tonight will deter me from returning anytime soon. First off upon receiving my 2 large drinks (one tea and one mr pib) I noticed there was no ice which is immediately a problem for 2 reasons. First problem is that no one wants hot tea and 2nd problem is that when you have soft drinks in a machine with no ice the drinks become flat and that exactly how the pib tasted. Then we weren't given straws so now I can't drink at all. Then when my dad opened his tray all 3 items were wrong. Also we were charged 18$ and some change which seemed high. Then we looked at our trays one of which had a receipt with a total of around 16$ and the other had a total of over 30$. So who's meals did we even get and why am I being overcharged? Also we had to wait several extra minutes for our onion rings that were initially forgotten and then they didn't even take the time to cook them all the way so they were soft and squishy which is not how an onion ring should be. Only giving 2 stars because my food was right and good. However I would not reccomend this establishment to anyone anytime soon. They really need to step it up before we the people decide...
