Nasty, unsafe, salmonella poisoning possible: The woman taking orders turned around, opened a nearby refrigerator picked up a pair of tongs and used them to removed raw food (looked like raw chicken) from the refrigerator and place it into a deep fryer. I didn’t think anything of it until I saw the same woman used those same tongs to pick up some cook chicken wings and placed them in a bag and gave them to a customer. After the customer left I told her what I saw, (she used the same tongs to handle raw and cooked food) I also told her to cancel my order. The U.S Department of Health and Human Services says to prevent the spread of salmonella poisoning, “do not use utensils on cooked foods that were previously used on raw foods and do not place cooked foods on plates where raw foods once were unless it has been cleaned thoroughly”.
