Update this is when I came in April. Also, what kind of bakery is not open on Sunday like the main day people want a bakery to be open? They should be closed on Monday and Tuesday instead of Sunday. I tried to make a new post but it wouldn’t let me I have to go off my old post. I originally gave this place five stars when I first came. I attempted to come here a few times but missed them they were closed when I came for the second time officially to walk in the doors I had just had my fourth child two days prior was released from Cape fear. When I walked in, I wasn’t actually greeted like the first time, She seemed like she was ready to close the door. All the donuts were on the counter. They were no longer in the case it seemed everyone was trying to clean up because it was closing time I walked to the counter and I asked are these all the donut you have left she said yes I said oh are you doing half off since you guys are closing in four minutes ? she looked at me crazy and said no with n attitude they’re not half off and I said these donuts have been sitting all day. They’re not half off?. She said no And I said well. What do you do with them when you guys close she’s like we donate them and I said well what’s the difference of you doing half off or charging me full price? She’s like we just don’t do that. so I said donate them to me. She looked at me crazy up and down. She was rude nasty middle-aged white woman believed to be the owner. I was so disgusted filled with emotions and hormones from just having a baby. I walked out. I never felt so uncomfortable. Why would you not do half off on donuts that have been sitting all day? I started crying when I walked out because I was just not welcomed the way I was welcomed by the older black lady who gave the samples when I first came when I was pregnant. The vibe was just not Vibing and if you open at 6 AM and close at 3 PM, you should do half off donuts after 1 o’clock. Moved to Red Spring, NC in April, from MN and I’ve been dying to find a real bakery, not Walmart not Food Lion a real authentic bakery. I came across this bakery on a Facebook page. I had a doctors appointment in Fayetteville yesterday so I stopped by. I was greeted by this older lady who is folding boxes at the front table, she was so sweet and she directed me to go towards the middle to look at the bakery items. I wish I would’ve got a picture of the items behind the glass. They had cookies, cakes, baklava, cherry, danishes, jelly filled donuts, cream, filled donuts, they also had ham and cheese, croissants and spinach feta pastry that where warm, the older lady asked me if I have ever tried their fried croissants. I told her it was my first time and she gave me a mini fried croissant, which was Delicious. I came for donuts so that’s what I got. The Bismarck‘s and jelly filled are a little smaller than I’m used to. I got two Biz marks one blueberry filled and one raspberry filled donut. One strawberry frosted sprinkle and one chocolate frosted sprinkle for my kids it came to 910 I believe which I thought was a little expensive for six donuts. The cashier was also a sweet young lady Alana. I think her name was she’s the one who helped me get my donuts. Its definitely a special treat, they are homemade made fresh every morning. I wish I lived closer. The quality of the donuts and the smell of the bakery reminded me of Minnesota whenever I get extra money and I’m in town. Will definitely stop by aging.

The moment you come in, they will greet you with free doughnuts or whatever they make for free. So awesome! Everyone is super nice too! And you will come home with some more FREE goodies if it is your day! 😉 the croissants are so delicious! I've never tried anything from here that wasn't good! I've never been to any establishment or restaurant around here that opens the door for you when you needed it except Superior bakery. Wow! I wasn't expecting that. So helpful! And oh, everything here is delicious! Trust me! :) Went back again and got some bread and cookies! My husband love loves chocolate chip cookies, it is his new favorite. I am not really into cookies so every time I go here, I make sure I get cookies for him. Their king something bread is so good! My daughter is obsessed! They had free yummy goodies today and then when I checked out, they gave me free yeast bread. Wow! Can't wait to try more! Everyone is super nice too! I just love coming here, not only do they have a great selection of yummy treats, but they are also super nice and that makes me so happy!

Superior Bakery in Fayetteville, North Carolina, is truly a gem, especially for those rare sweet cravings! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with every employee radiating joy and pride in their work. Upon entering, you're greeted with genuine smiles, setting the tone for a delightful experience. My first visit was a treat; I devoured delicious donut holes and a slice of red velvet cake, both satisfying my taste buds. My wife's glazed donuts were outstanding, and I found the fried croissant stuffed with cream cheese to be a highlight. On my second day, I eagerly anticipated the butter croissants, which smelled divine. The remarkable customer service here is unparalleled—every encounter felt like stepping into a fairytale. With such kindness and care, Superior Bakery sets a standard that every establishment should aspire to. If you’re in Fayetteville, don’t miss out on this enchanting bakery!

I had heard many great things about this place before arriving to the area so thought I'd try it out. The strawberry donuts are delicious and so are the ties. They have a nice crisp on them from being fried.

I had been wanting some caramel cake and saw one here, it didn't look how the carrot cakes in Tx or TN looked but I decided to try it anyways, it wasn't to my liking but the donuts are very good. So I'd recommend those, def some of the best I've ever had.

We were greeted upon entering but it was kind of a weird vibe. There were workers standing behind the counter, a man, and there was a lady already being helped.

I knew there was a person in front of me when I arrived but the worker stated they could help "who was next.." I pointed to the guy & he Told us to go so we placed our order.

During the short interaction with the worker, it seemed like she was rushing us to make a decision, I've ate at enough places to know how people can do and say things without making you feel rushed or like your taking too long to decide.. like "ok and what else would you like?" or ask "anything else?" pleasantly or just wait a min a smile until we say the next thing but she was like is that all after each pick.. it's like chill.. but I tried not to think too much into it.. like maybe that how she talk because it didn't she was mean, it just wasn't nice or friendly to me but the donuts are very good.

I'd recommend you try it, maybe she won't be there or you may not have the same experience. I'll probably eat the donuts again but idk if I will be back in the store. Will probably just send my husband in to deal with all that if I don't find a better...

Oh my goodness, this place deserves way more stars. Where do I start. It's gotta be with the owners. Nick is the best, he loves the bakery and his employees. That all shows through the customer service from the free samples to the great atmosphere. Now onto the food. Hot donuts and even in the afternoon, wow. The donuts and brownies are awesome. The fried croissants are delicious. But, if you like eclairs, you have to have one here. The pastry is great and the filling has a delicious different taste to most eclairs. If Nick is there, which is probable, he will be out greeting customers, many by name as there are many faithful customers. They've been in business like 65 years and they have recipes that have been handed down from past generations. Can't wait to try one of their cakes. Mmmmm Thanks Nick for a great visit, talking to us about things other than the bakery, like the Colts, volleyball and just being a very nice personable owner. Many businesses have owners that won't even give you the time of day, if you even see them. Must be why they've been in business and so successful for so long. Oh one more thing, this was our first visit there. So it goes to show every customer is appreciated. Many owners only play favorites with their regulars, but Nick paid special attention to us while still paying attention to...
