Seattle is no San Diego, clearly. Getting decent Mexican food is a tough one, as most people have low standards as they don't know a truly good taco if it bit them on the backside. For better or worse, I grew up in SoCal, and killer taco action is like shooting fish tacos in a barrel. So finding truly good, or even great, tacos up here is a rarity.

Enter this truck, painted brightly like the Michoacán neighborhood I once lived in. The true test for me is always the basics - give me a carne asada taco and a pollo taco. And boy, did they deliver. I'm still tasting the meat after I finished, and it was seasoned, great, and the other true test answer to the question "will you come back?" I will reply "oh hell yes". This truck is located within the parking lot of a Chevron gas station. So, parking may be challenging and especially so, during the busier times of the day. Once you place your order, you'll receive a "pager" that will vibrate to notify you that your order is ready. I think there is an adjacent seating area beside the truck should you want to eat on site, but I took my food to-go. Ordered over the phone! Quick easy service and Quesabirrias to die for🤤 just don’t forget el consome is sold separately and their items are well priced. Everything we ordered felt like home so it’s authentic enough for me and this new location is near by all my usual errands so it’s convenient. They are very nice too and welcoming. There is a small area for those who want to eat near by as well; one covered and the other open so the night sky is visible if you come by late.
