Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Ferndale

I ordered a large pizza with pepperoni bacon black olives extra sauce and extra cheese on 1/26/21... what I got was a pepperoni pizza. I go back in and told the girl working the counter that my pizza was wrong. She looks at me like I'm lying I said the receipt on the box has the correct toppings but (opens box) all I got was a pepperoni pizza. She goes in the back and takes the receipt off puts the pizza in the warmer and just says to the guys making pizza you have to remake this one. First in the days of covid she should've thrown the pizza away since it did leave the building. Second their job consists of reading the orders and making them. So how they just disregarded the entire slip in front of them and the screen next to them with the order on it and the receipt when they placed it on the box is beyond me. No one apologized for the inconvenience. When the correct pizza was given she just put the box on the counter. I was thinking she would've opened it so I could see it was corrected which would've been good customer service. However it seems you can only get service from this location because this is not the first time the customer service element lacked. The entire store needs customer service training. I'll be looking for a different location to order from...

This is my far the worst customer service that I have ever received in my entire life today from the employees at this location!!! The managers response to a customer issue was rude and reprehensible. They totally misrepresented what really occurred and have no respect or desire to offer any type of respectable customer service. Employees say one thing managers say another. To make matters worse, they put the drivers in the middle. But then the driver the driver misrepresented the situation as well. I will be contacting the corporate offices on Monday and will never ever step foot in this location again. Management is an absurd joke at this hungry Howie’s location in Ferndale!!! Confrontational, no respect for their customers nor taking responsibility for their own mistakes. We have supported our hometown location for the past 6 years, that has ended. We will happily drive to the Royal Oak location or Clawson and support those locations! :) Taking this post down does not magically make the situation that...

Hungry Howies has been my favorite for many years now. 😋 I have never had any issues, let me say this first. I always order my pizzzas for delivery. This evening I noticed that my pizza box was not secured/sealed with the circle sticker as it usually is. I called the Ferndale location and asked to speak with the manager. Not as a rude customer but a pleasant customer with some constructive criticism. I explained about my box being sealed and the manager response was " we only do that for Door Dash customers". I let him know that I have NEVER used Door Dash to order a Pizza from them and my pizza box was ALWAYS sealed and secured closed with the round sticker. He said that they had some "regular " drivers today. Ok what does that have to do exactly with my concern about a seal on not on my pizza box?
