What a great find! When so often restaurants seem to be so similar, a dime a dozen, this one stands out- Service was great! The young lady( wish I had gotten her name) wears many hats and does it all with a positive, friendly…attitude- Answered questions about background of the sandwich- She was quick considering she had customers at the counter, serving food to customers at the tables, cashing customers out, dishing up soups, salads …People better tip her well! The food ( sandwiches and bean soup) were delicious! The absolutely best bean soup I’ve had outside of my own home. It tasted exactly how I would make it at home so flavorful-Served with 2 chunks of hot fresh bread- The sandwich was delicious- it reminds me of a Gyro, but it’s stuffed in a pita type bread- a cabbage, lettuce type slaw and special dressing- The meat is like Gyro meat excepted. It had a zesty type seasoning. Sooooo good! Turkish coffee will put hair on your chest- 😂 Husband needed a lot more cream- The feta, cucumber, tomato salad was good, but a bit pricey- Prices are a couple bucks higher than I’d expect and I think the prices I saw online were less- Minus the coffee- Meal was $40 plus tip- My husband got the coffee at the end of the meal-

Food is good and authentic, but it's also nothing extraordinary. In Germany and Europe Doner is street food that costs at most 5-6EUR. Mandatory gratuity for take out orders of 15% added to any bill over $20 is outrageous (that means if you order for more than 1 person you are forced to pay this gratuity). If you require adding gratuity for your staff doing their jobs, then pay your staff a decent wage and have the prices reflect this... oh wait, the prices already do. As such $10.50 for a doner sandwich is quite steep. The point of tipping is to recognize exceptional service. If you make tipping mandatory then add it the price and be up front. When asked about the mandatory gratuity, I was told that that's the rule. I did not receive any service for this gratuity, I just had to pay a gratuity for the food that I ordered to take home and eat. My order of 4 doner + 2 fries cost $53. Add the 15% gratuity of which I was charged $8.42 incorrectly and MI 6% sales tax with gratuity included and my takeout order easily reached $64.60. That is extremely expensive.

This place is awesome, so glad it opened up shop in Ferndale. Convenient, well staffed, clean, simple but very unique menu, and open late - just what this town needed. The Döner Kebob is absolutely the thing to get on the menu, but I'm already trying the rest of what's on offer. This time it was the Chevapi and I have to admit - kinda weird, but in a good way. It's literally sausage links on home made bread served with red onion, cream cheese, and a roasted red pepper sauce all on the side. The bread is unlike anything I've ever had - soft, spongy, dense, with a light sourdough flavor. The sausage links are good but not special. Eaten together they have the density of a brick and sit in your stomach as such. This is definitely a two meal dish the kind of regional classic that was invented by and popular with hungry factory or farm workers. Could definitely do with some of the vegetation that tops the kebob, but then that would be messing with tradition.

Just because I ordered through door dash doesn't mean you can give me the most messed up sandwich I've ever seen before. I ordered a doner kebab. Sandwich was torn in half, bread stale, and barely any meat or toppings.

Never got this treatment from the hamtramck location which is far superior by the way.

Again just because you don't have to see my face is no excuse to slight me in any way. You guys are one of my favorite places so I'm honestly very disappointed and upset at this service.

Please have more respect for your food, your business, and your customers. I will not be returning to your location and will inform others not to as well. I spent my last few dollars on your restaurant and supported your business and what I received in return was unfair and embarrassing. I know you can do much better because I have been eating your food for 5+ years.

Don't ruin your business by putting zero effort. Every item should be made with care regardless of who...
