So pretty sure the employees were high or on something when I came here. We ordered a meal and another sub. For whatever reason the person making our subs rips out all of the delicious bread on the top half (the bread is one of the best parts) and the person who took our order gave us jalapeno chips rather than BBQ. when asked to switch it out for BBQ because that's what I had originally ordered, the employee rather than simply giving me the correct chips announces to the store "That's not what he ordered". Even if I did say the wrong chips do you really need to announce it to your friends while working right in front of me?
Normally it wouldn't bother me but in this instance 4 of the 5 people working looked impaired to some degree or maybe they were just overworked. When someone called after we ordered it seemed to take half the people working their to take a phone order. Even the person making our sandwich tried to help, mind you there is only one person who can talk to them. It was comical watching two people try to talk to the person on the phone while the other two were trying to type in the order. It took 5 minutes to get our two sandwiches which is not "freaky fast" and watching the person making our sandwich was painful as she started by ripping out the bread with her hands (wearing gloves) and with sloth-like intensity peeling the ingredients apart.
I get it that people may be new to the job and I'm sure they were trying their best but the management at this location needs to step up their training and quality control. I love Jimmy Johns and have been enjoying your sandwiches for years but never had such a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter having abstained from the brand for a long time due to my disdain for Founder/former chairman Jimmy John Liautaud, I decided to give it another shot today, as Liautaud stepped down from major leadership roles in the company following its 2019 acquisition.
Imagine my surprise to see this table equating open carry to being as deserving of being offered a seat as a SENIOR CITIZEN or PREGNANT PERSON. You would think whoever was in charge of designing the space would have catered it to reflect the values of the community the store resides in. Bad look for a community as progressive and respectful to their neighbors as Ferndale. Obviously JJs can do whatever they want, but when there are plenty of other options for food and subs in the same plot/just across the street who donāt feel the need to glorify Wild West cosplayers who wave their firearms around in public (see: grocery store, sub shop) to feel some unearned sense of respect, itās a pretty easy choice. Obviously there are bigger problems in the world than some dumb text on a table, but money talks, baby.
Decent sub, but company still exhibits garbage values in 2022 - so I will not be returning. (To boot, I had 2 combos with chips and drinks and was not even offered a bag, barely made it back to the car. Ordering area was chaos, and the app was broken. When asked what type of peppers the Jimmy Peppers were, the cashier could only say...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI order from this location unfortunately at least twice a week and alway missing items yesterday was 2 bags of chips the other time an entire sandwich the time before that was a Cookie. I understand the short staffing issue but please at least double check an order before it leaves for delivery. Or check items off as they are being bagged. I never call to complain just take the loss. Maybe I should call to complain but I haven't. All I. All at least out 100 dollars worth of food that I've paid for and have not had delivered. Very weird that Jimmy johns asks u to submit your review on their website as well, expected to have some one reach out to me regarding the issues at the store never heard a thing from Jimmy johns? So what was the point of them commenting on my review to also submit the review on their website if they never try and contact you for more details. As a manager of a restaurant myself we take the time to call customers of our establishment to try and listen to their concerns so we can better ourselves and not make the same mistake twice. Just speaks volumes on the company as a whole. Not looking for compensation per say no matter how much money I've wasted on this company. But just to know that this store has severe issues and may need more help than what the manager and owner is able to accomplish. Good luck to you Jimmy johns you will...
