Went today for the first time and was really excited after being told personally about how good this place was and seeing such good reviews. I dont know if we caught an off day or a bad time especially with it being memorial day but the service and food really was disappointing. Immediately the older woman at the counter felt annoyed with us and rushed us. Even with no line behind us and her beginning the exchange. We didnt rush her or immediately start telling her our order either. She was rude to her coworkers multiple times as well, example being when I had asked for the four listened macaron flavors she was told that they had another flavor, chocolate as well that wasnt listed. Without telling us this info to see if we wanted that flavor as well or even just informing us she waved off the employee and said ‘just give me any four!’. We also paid extra for whipped cream on our drinks and didnt recieve it likely from her taking one item of an order at a time and yelling it back to her coworkers instead of taking the time to take our full order. On top of this the macarons were solid hard even minutes after receiving them on the hot day and tasted poor, felt like it was from the freezer. The danishes lacked flavor in the dough though the raspberry one was definitely better than the blueberry. The tiramisu was good and the drinks as well were really good. But mainly the drink made on site was what made the trip good, not even the baked goods. Again maybe the worker had a stressed day but it was really disappointing and a turn off seeing how she treated her co workers. Maple Cinnamon roll- good. Would be better fresh, as with many things. My wife said she would get it again.

Carrot cake- cake itself could've been more moist but there's no telling how old the slice was and they pre slice their cakes. For all the extra bits in the cake itself, it didn't carry much flavor. I think it lacked spice or any real flavor at all. Everything comes from the frosting, which is delicious, but because there's so little between the 2 large layers of cake it leaves you wishing there were more.

Decent overall. Whitney said based on the cinnamon roll she'd give 5 stars. I wouldn't get the carrot cake again. If we come back to the area and Whitney wants another cinnamon roll I'll try...

Got several items from the night market in Eureka including several cookies and a cinnamon roll. Everything had freshness issues. Nothing tasted fresh, everything tasted like it had been sitting there in package for too long. Nothing had Best by / expiration on package but they probably should. It is hard to know when it is time to throw a stagnant product out when there isn’t even a production date on package. Really disappointed, won’t buy anything ever again from this brand. I would recommend at least putting a production date on your labels so you at least know when it’s time to throw it out, instead of serving customers old...
