Took my son with me and we ate here for the first time. Usually, don't like writing reviews on restaurants after just one visit. The nice thing about this restaurant is its mom/pop feel and it looks like they have many regular repeat customers. As for the food, my son had pancakes and he had no complaints about them. Said they were really good. As for me, I had a ham and chedar cheese omelet and I'm sorry it wasn't the best. First, bit into egg shells my third bit in, but hey even the best cooks have a bad day. My big complaint was how the waitress reacted when I told her. In my days as a waiter, it was protocol to immediately take away the bad and replace it. It was policy for all the restaurants I've ever worked for from the local to the national to "make it right". All my waitress did was bring me more napkins incase I ran into more bad luck. But, even despite that bad experience, the omelet was fluffy but dry and all the ingredients were sparse and lacking. Barely any ham or cheese. I also got a side order of hashbrowns, and they were actually really good, not like some places were you think your chewing dehydrated cardboard. However, the serving was really small compared to what I paid for it. The coffee wasn't bad and I never had to ask for a refill. Neither did my son on his drink. So, since my son really enjoyed his meal, I'll give this place a second chance sometime in the future. I just order...

We’ve never really had a bad experience with them until today. We decided to go for mine and my nieces birthday, We were there ordered got our food then my sisters boyfriend had found a hair in his food, no big deal we just wanted to get it remade is all. The lady came out and swore it wasn’t any of their hair, made a big deal about it then continued to blame it on my sisters boyfriend and say it was his hair. Then THEY messed up and gave my two nieces someone else bacon, again the lady making a scene about that, then continued to walk to the front and say that “she isn’t happy abt the situation” then as my we got our bill my sister noticed she was charged for the bacon they had messed up and gave to us, so my sister asked about it and our actual waitress then states “we can take one of the bacons off since your not happy about anything” so then I spoke up and said “that was so rude” she then was shocked that I spoke up. We then paid and left. But as paying they were still continuing to be rude. Honestly, I don’t recommend going here. The foods great when there’s not a hair in it, the place is also great when they aren’t being so rude to their costumers. Honestly they are lucky...

Food had funky taste, hash browns were a wow factor ( is that cooked) whoa not eating that. Asked for rye toast got wheat and then they come back with rye bread not toast , I told them to take it back don’t want it now,.I asked for large milk they gave me small milk, I said something and 1 waitress told me dishwasher quit then they gave me a even smaller glass of milk to make up for large milk.i went to pay and short older lady mgr greeted me with a very hostile attitude from hell and I proceeded to tell her I wasn’t paying for hasbrowns and she had a very mean look on her face and told me while crumpling up the bill get out. She’s a miserable woman I must say and the milk cost $4.00 , a gallon cost $2.50, we have been regularly coming here love their food, I’m assuming that miserable woman was the cook and mgr, We will be going to Bob Evan’s restaurant from here on. They may need to change whatever griddle they got back there because everything had a funky taste, did last time when we came. Milk money should pay for that and hiring a much better...

Highly recommended. Small, homey restaurant. Lots of choices, great food, stellar service. We stopped in Findlay for food and found this restaurant on Google maps. We were too early for dinner so couldn't order the beef Manhattan. We ordered steak and eggs (came with 2 eggs, hash browns and buttered toast), waffles with extra sides of sausage links and bacon, and 3 pancakes. The steak was flavorful and cooked to the correct temp. The waffle was light and crispy. The pancakes were huge, fluffy, moist and flavorful. We were pleasantly surprised by the unlimited coffee. Our server Ruth was friendly and attentive, quick to notice when our coffee was rummig low and making aure to check on how we were doing often , without being intrusive. We will make sure to stop here any time we are on a road trip around here.

Awesome place to eat!!!! We were driving to Toledo on a Sunday morning and we found this gem. Outside looks like a old Howard Johnson main office, but a tad run down... Inside has a Hometown Diner atmosphere! Food was Marvelous! Sweet tea was wonderful! Tried to get a pic of the food,, but it didn't stay on the plate long enough. Staff was so friendly! Our waitress was Melissa, but we carried on conversations with 3-4 of the staff. All were hardworking and pleasant! Serve time was quick. And food was great! One complaint... my Country Fried Steak was too warm and I had to wait for it to cool down. (Tough problem to have) Ohhh, did I mention prices??? More than fair... I highly recommend this restraunt!

I'm originally from Findlay and had never eaten here but had read online it's "one of the top 10 breakfast places"... idk, maybe NW Ohio. I got a basic ham and cheese omelet. Nearly $10. I was not asked what kind of cheese I wanted but it came with American. Gross. I would have preferred cheddar. $10... Does not include potatoes. That's an extra $4! I was there on a Monday just after breakfast rush so it was thinning out. The server never checked back to see how the food was or to refill my soda. Truck stop dining at its minimum. Will not be back!
