Kristian's Coney Island — Restaurant in Flint

This place is awesome and very reasonable take out! I went here almost every night working security down the street and what a place just the quaintest lil greasy spoon with a menu that you could eat off of for a year and never have the same thing twice. But you will cause the fried fish and the French toast are the best yer gunna find in a ONLY drive thru setting btw the place stands in a lot about 500sq feet and is a bar rec building with 2 opposite drive thru windows the build is perfect they cook, serve, expedite, and take order right where they stand. The cook and owner are down to earth and jus nice people and the one girl made this old fella feel warm inside whem she said I was cute and girl yer cute to with yer purple hair. Almost guanteed she aint there no mo this was many moons ago but in remeberance of my primal violent past in flint I use this review as closure. Everything was A1 the first time my wife and I went.. fast forward to today 10/19 we sat at the speaker for a good min, no one said anything, so I pulled around and I'm just assuming the computers were down but the girl inside was on the phone typing something on the computer I screen . I asked "hey are you guys open" got no response so I said to myself "I said self just be patient" so I waited 7 more minutes keep in mind she's right at the window never acknowledges me not one time "Could have said hey we're having computer trouble come back in so and so time" or "Hey we're going to be closed for the night" instead no acknowledgment whatsoever just terrible customer service all the way around. I work In customer service so I know what it's supposed to look like and that's not it!

Past this place driving home and never tried it so I turned around. Glad I did! The Philly steak and cheese pita was tasty had flavor just a small portion. The Club sandwich was good, the there was no cheese on it. Still well made and the meats were warm and veggies crisp and fresh. The bacon cheese burger was a decent portion cooked well with fresh toppings. Those onions were very strong smelling. Fries were a bit soggy and small amount for my liking but my family enjoyed them. The waitress taking my order seemed to be a bit pushy like she was rushing me through the ordering process. Overall I would return. I’d like to see if breakfast is...
