Normally I love Popeye's and have no complaints. However today's experience has changed that. I placed an order through the app for pick up in the drive thru as I had my dogs with me, so I didn't want to leave them in the car to go inside. I waited in the drive thru for 25 mins behind 2 cars (it was a very slow day, only 2 people in the lobby, no other cars behind me) before I got to the speaker and they told me to hang on before they'd help me...5 mins later they finally waited on me. I told them I had an online order & they said you have to come inside to pick that up. I'd already waited 30 mins in a slow drive thru, and now had to park & walk inside and wait another 15mins for my online order! I got inside and they were out of my drink (coca cola), they had no dipping sauces for tenders, the only sides available were coleslaw and red beans & rice, I had ordered Cajun fries with my food, they had no desserts at all (I'd ordered a blackberry cheesecake pie), they couldn't refund my money, the food was not even fresh & ended up making me sick. They were extremely slow, the front counter employee was visibly annoyed & unfriendly, the inside was dirty, pop machine in lobby was not functioning. I highly recommend going to a different Popeye's location! Lesson learned...
Read moreI drive for Grubhub, and this place always takes at least half an hour to get an order to anyone. There's always a huge line full of people who are always asking each other how long they've been waiting. Yesterday was no exception. No one ever asked me what I wanted, but I finally told a woman who worked there that I was there for a Grubhub order. She said it would be up soon. 45 minutes later, a couple people finally got their orders and left, wishing me luck. I asked a man working there how much longer the Grubhub order would be. He printed out the receipt for it right then! They had never started the order! He told the guy making food to make the order. The guy making food said, "Are you kidding me?!" and the guy I had talked to said, "Yeah, make it, it's just a 4 piece." But I guess he never did make it. The guy I talked to put on his coat and was on his cell phone. I didn't see anyone attempting to make food. I dropped the order and left, an hour after I was supposed to pick it up. Read moreI live in Mount Morris and I would rather drive all the way to the Miller Road location before I ever come to this location again. I’ve been to this location before and I’ve never had a great experience but, what can you do when every thing is permanently closed on Pierson Rd. ? Your options are few and far in between. Not listening to my better judgement I went anyway. I placed my order at the drive-thru and I’m assuming the person who took my payment was the shift manager at the time which was around 9/9:30p, everything was fine but, the person who brought my food to the window was a regular associate. He just stuck it in the window. No, do you need any ketchup or honey ? Napkins...silverware...nothing !!! Not even a thank you have a nice day. He just stuck the food in the window and walked away. I waited a bit for him to come back to the window and he never did. I will continue to leave review after review until something is done about the service at this location.
