The Wooden Keg — Restaurant in Flint

Took my wife here so she could grab lunch before her shift at GM. We both sat at a table for 20 minutes. Over all there were 6-8 other people, but all of them were already helped or eating/drinking. 3 waitresses made direct eye contact with us and still refused to come up to us.

Finally one waitress came over and asked if we had been helped. I said "no, no one even handed us a menu. We have been here for over 20 minutes." Which she replied "oh my bad we were doing a shift change." Which I replied "oh you mean the one waitress who walked in and clocked in then proceeded to talk to you both and drink for 10-15 minutes?" She had no response for that one other than "yeah."

Worse bar experience so far in flint. Had high hopes since it's right next to GM. My wife is going to make sure and let anyone she talks to at GM to avoid this place. Worst waitresses ever. Not to mention it was only 12:45pm and the few patrons who were there, acted belligerent. The waitresses were cussing at them back and forth in a not so playful manor and demanding he pay the tab. The best bar in old Flint! Open from 7am to 2am every day this bar is always here when you're ready for a cold beverage. The staff is awesome, always has a smile, and friendly service. The owner is kind and really cares about her bar. This bar is well maintained, the building is always cleaned, and the parking lot is typically free of debris or random weirdos loitering. I love this bar & the customers there. I always meet new friends.! Very friendly atmosphere & the staff is wonderful. They are so friendly & I never have to wait for service because they take great care of their customers. When I go there for their amazing breakfast at 7am or afternoon/evening for their delicious pizza or corned beef sandwich the food is always topnotch! I highly recommend...
