Read moreWhile in Flint last week, stopped by YaYas on the way home to pick up dinner for the family. Bought 3 chicken salads for just under $25 . Got them home and must say they were the worst salads I've ever bought from ANY restaurant EVER! Huge chunks of lettuce, I mean it looked like someone took a head of lettuce and cut it into about 6 pieces and tossed them in a box, then sprinkled approx. 3 tablespoons of burned, hard chicken bits atop the "salad". My son said it looked and tasted like the last scrapings out of the chicken barrel! Also, there were big pieces of what I believe we're red cabbage? pieces that were literally the size of a credit card! This was awful and unacceptable. If I had not been over 30 miles away from the shop, I would have returned and demanded my money back that very evening. Instead I wrote YaYas cooperate office, explained in detail what transpired, and am currently awaiting a response. Regardless, I will not be buying...
Read moreI grew up eating Yayaâs and it was one of the best fast food places to eat at. The chicken was good, salads, pita bread, rice, etc and it was good for you! But it has gone SO downhill in about the past 7 years Iâd say. Perhaps one of their most infamous items was the ranch dressing because it was Yayaâs brand and was unlike any other dressing you could ever buy/make. I went there a couple of weeks ago and paid over $20 for 2 âlargeâ salads that were extremely small and I got super small cups of cheap ranch that was definitely not the Yayaâs original. Apparently they donât have it anymore? The time prior to this my family & I didnât feel well after eating there. So this was my last chance for Yayaâs to change my mind and they failed. Itâs so sad to see what this establishment has become, I...
