Railroad Pizza Company — Restaurant in Flora

If you've never been to Railroad Pizza Company or never heard of Railroad Pizza Company you're about to hear about them now and you need to get there ASAP! This Gem of a place is tucked away in the wonderful town of Flora, MS. They serve high end food at very reasonable prices. For appetizers we had the Onion Ring Stack and Small Cheese Sticks. The onion rings are dipped in a spicy batter then panko bread crumbs I believe. They were super crispy and DELICIOUS. They're served with Comeback and Ranch dressing for dipping. P.S. I would dip a boot in those dressings and eat it! The cheese sticks were mixed with two mozzarella and two pepper jack. Both were excellent but the pepper jack ones were OFF THE CHARTS! For our entrée we got a small Food Plot Pizza (all veggies and no meat). Being a lifelong carnivore I don't know what I was thinking ordering this but it was a pleasant surprise. It could have used a little more salt because of all the veggies but I'm not taking a star away for that. I just dipped it in my ranch and it was fine. We also bought some goodies to take home and they were very good also. We decided to try Railroad Pizza Company after a coworker mentioned that it was good and we happened to be in the area. Unfortunately, we didn't even get to try the pizza. We sat at the bar for 20 minutes without ever being acknowledged by any of the staff. We waited patiently as it was a Friday night, and we understand because we have both worked in restaurants. After not even receiving a glance or hello from any of the staff, we decided that no pizza is worth such poor customer service and departed. Even on a busy night, you would think the staff would be well-trained and well-managed enough to at least acknowledge patrons and maybe drop off a glass of water while they wait. AMAZING. Super cozy environment, great personalities, the best cheese sticks I've ever had, good pizza, and all for a decent price!! If you're visiting the area, STOP HERE. If you live in the area and haven't gone yet, YOU'RE MISSING OUT! I only regret not taking pictures to share with y'all!

Pizza: Firetruck - enough heat to get your attention accompanied by delicious toppings. -Dump truck- if you're a traditional pizza fan, this one's for you!
