I'd never eaten here. I have passed this place a million times but in St. Louis you know we'll get loyal to a restaurant of this type and drive miles just to go to the one we favor. But a friend who lives near here recovering at home so I decided to bless him with food. He called his order in and I picked it up no problem. When I got to his house he inhaled it!!! Lol. I was like dang it's that good?! Yes, he says; so I place an order by phone before I leave his house. When I get the bag in so hungry that I start in on my seafood St. Paul. Which is really weird because I don't eat these! I don't like white bread or mayonnaise. The patty is huge and I usually don't like that part either. But when I tell u that was the most delicious thing I had put in my mouth that week I'm not exaggerating!! The lettuce was crispy, the pickles were sour, the bread had been toasted just enough that it wasn't soggy. Dirty dinning area (Due to lack of respect for community) i bought 2 whole orders of rice and the guy literally gave me 4 soy sauce and NO SWEET AND SOUR then said i would have to pay 10 cent each i said that was fine but they would not accept card payment under 10$ so he “blessed me” with 2 packets of sweet and sour sauce for my 2 whole orders of rice. after begging for 5 more minutes and ignoring his comment when he told me “just leave “ he told me he would trade me 2 of my soy sauce for 2 more sweet and sour. Kowloon Chop Suey is a very Saint Louis style Asian cuisine restaurant (often coined as "Chinese food" which is what they serve here). The location is extremely humble, but that's exactly what the low key atmosphere is. It's the type of place you literally drive by a few times while running errands.

The cooks are talented, the food is made fresh and tastes delicious.
