3 Buddies Country Store & Cafe — Restaurant in Florence

With the exception of a FEW friendly faces, most of the staff here act like they would rather slit their throats mid-purchase than help you out even when it’s just a quick purchase at the counter. They are extremely rude, condescending and seem flat-out upset that they have to work at a gas station and they want to take it out on you. I used to come to this place a lot when they were at their old location but as of lately, I dread when I have to come in to order food, pick up beer, or even put gas and use the bathroom. I am always met with some scoffing, rushed and annoyed tones and lots of eye rolling no matter what I purchase. Even though this place is close by my house, I would rather drive further and longer to go elsewhere to avoid this place. Although the food is not bad most days, the service is why I’d rather eat anywhere else. This is a perfect example of a few bad apples ruining the whole bunch. I keep my visits here on a “emergency only” basis and do not recommend coming here unless...

This is a great convenience store and gas station. The quick-service cafe is really good too they have great chicken tenders. And their prices are pretty good too. I only put top-tier gas in my car and they offered Valero gas which is good. The entire store is clean and well-thought-out. The bathrooms are well-stocked and comfortable and clean. But what I like most is the service. Older adults can be indifferent, polite or just plain unfriendly but everyone here was very helpful and cordial. Also they employ a few teenagers from the local Florence Community I'm assuming. And they are very well-mannered and helpful and eager to work hard and provide good service. I can't wait till I'm in the area again so I can come back here and give them my business. The local community is lucky to have this place. But also this place is a reflection of the local community and I guess that's why it has such good...

Walking into D. Boones is like coming home. This place is wonderful. The staff is welcoming, personable, and friendly. They make you feel as if you are part of the family. Not only do they have a warm and welcoming atmosphere, but it is also a super safe place. You can always find at least one DPS Trooper inside or close by. It's wonderful!

They have a dining section for the café and a separate section for the store. The convenience store stocks most things any convenience stores carry, and there are a variety of items on their menu in the café.

Everything I've ordered here is delicious and tastes like a comforting home-cooked meal.
