Based on reviews, the issue we had is an ongoing problem. At no fault of Burger King's, I had not eaten all day and it was well into dinner hours. Deciding to treat myself after a long day, to a night of not cooking or doing dinner dishes, we waited in line 20 minutes before we got to the speaker. I was told they were short handed and it would be a few minutes. This was fine because there is no menu to look at before you get to the speaker and I wasn't sure of what I wanted to order for us. After deciding on some promotional meals upgraded with a shake, I was told the machine was down. We don't drink colas so I got us some burgers and a large fry and poppers. 30 minutes and $18 later, we are finally getting to eat. The large fry was filled to the capacity of a small and weren't cooked all the way and everything was cold. I understand being short handed, but there were 2 workers that stood there the entire time just waiting for the food to bag up. That would make sense if the food wasn't taking so long after you got to the window. I cannot for the life of me figure out how the food was cold already, when they had just put it in the warmer area to get bagged up. I could have cooked the pre-pattied frozen burgers from the grocery store in 12 minutes. Had I gotten a hot meal that was worth around $20, I would have looked over the wait, but to get luke-warm to chilled food after 30 minutes in a drive thru....that...
Read moreWe sat in the drive thru for about 15 minutes with only 2 cars in front of us. Our food was barely warm, on the verge of cold, and I had to ask for our drinks. Then after I left the window, I had to pull over and go inside because they had not given us straws for our drinks and they had not given me my receipt. When I asked for the receipt, the manager grabbed a PILE of receipts from the drive thru, started sorting through them on the counter in front of me and mumbled that they "never give out receipts" which is TOTALLY against company policy. I understand there is a staffing shortage. I own a restaurant myself with staffing issues, but we do keep up standards so our customers don't feel like we just don't care....which is how I felt at this...
Read more0 stars!!!!!!! Spent OVER 30 minutes in drive thru today, but wasnt 10 cars in it when I pulled up at end of line. When I got to window, they didn't apologize, and I ended up making a joke about it supposedly being fast food. The girl at window says "yea we dont have any customers, and we dont have people working". Then slammed the window in our face, turned around and crossed her arms with her back to me, and refused to give me my food. I lost it!!! Then called and spoke with a manager and all she said is yea sorry, and it just stopped talking. I live very close to there and we eat there AT LEAST 5 times a week. Well no longer. Will go across town from now on!!!! Beware of cox...
